People who serve in the military are earning their money. He must think they just sit on their asses all day long doing nothing. I wonder if he felt he was living off the taxpayers while he was in Vietnam?

In the RFP they state employees of the contract company must be fluent in English (reading and speaking). Most likely this is to prevent companies from hiring illegals.

Here's another thing to consider. Only those who are currently collecting unemployment benefits are counted in the U-3 unemployment rate. Once a person's unemployment benefits are exhausted, they are no longer counted in the U-3 numbers. If 25,000 people collecting unemployment start new jobs this month and another 25,000 this month have exhausted their unemployment benefits; that's 50,000 less people this month collecting unemployment. This gives the appearance that 50,000 people who were collecting unemployment are now employed. If this is wrong, someone please explain how.

So what we should do is make it fair by making sure our military is no stronger than any other nation's military? I think the Democrats really want the illegals here so they have people who will clean their houses and take care of the lawns because they don't want to do those things for themselves or have to pay others a higher rate to have it done.

You apparently don't see the need to have strong military to serve as a deterrent to war. So what do you propose the government do with the money they currently spend on national defense? An awful lot of blue states benefiting from the F-35.

The military still has the death penalty. The military uses hanging, with the exception of Eddie Slovik who was executed by firing squad for desertion during WWII in Europe. The last military execution was in 1961. The guy was convicted for rape and attempting to murder an 11-year old girl in Austria.

What you're saying then is, "we shouldn't worry about building our military up until we are attacked first. Instead we should take that money and redistribute it to people who don't want to take responsibility for their own welfare and make them dependent upon the government."

You are failing miserably. Republicans don't seek perpetual war. What we believe in is to have the assets available and the willingness to go to war if necessary. If you are prepared to go to war and you show no fear about going to war, you stand a greater chance of deterring others from making war against you. As far as being prepared for war, you should have the best and be better than the rest.

When you deal with schools, those reports are kept on file in case they are needed in the future.
