If the Democrats never wanted to reform health insurance, then why in the hell did they create Obamacare?

4th Circuit rules against Trump's Muslim Ban

You're pissed because you believed the president did not have the authority to do what he did. I said from the beginning the president had the authority to do this. Now all 9 justices have also disagreed with you. -
4th Circuit rules against Trump's Muslim Ban

Really? The ban involved Muslims from only 6 countries. You do know there are other Muslim countries and countries with large percentages who are Muslim don't you? All 9 justices on the supreme court also disagree with you. -
West Nile Virus should be a concern when it comes to mosquitoes. My father-in-law died as a result of WNV. He became very sick in October 2016 with severe flu-like symptoms. A week after seeing the doctor, he collapsed and was taken to a hospital in Augusta (he lived in Waynesboro, Burke County). Two days later, he was put into ICU and placed on a ventilator, as he was paralyzed from the waist down. He remained paralyzed and on a ventilator until he passed away two months ago. He was the 5th of 6 cases of WNV in Georgia; the 6th also from Burke County. There was also one case reported

How Can Agroup Of People Be This Naive, And Be So Unaware?

I find it hilarious some participating in this thread assume Republicans knew what the guy was doing. That's like saying all Democrats in Congress knew William "Cold Cash" Jefferson was taking bribes, but turned a blind eye to it. -
If he is a racist, I doubt he would have supported Bobby Jindal.

"I do not support a livable wage" - Karen Handel

I simply pointed out to you how the ACA is a financial burden to businesses; especially when businesses have to eat more than 90% of the cost, which many businesses cannot afford. Exactly. -

Obamacare is a financial burden to small businesses. Businesses with 50 or more full-time employees must offer those employees "qualified and affordable healthcare benefits, or pay a penalty tax." An employee's contribution to the cost of employer provided health care under Obamacare is 9.69% of the employee's income. That makes the employer's contribution 90.31% of the cost. Do you consider a 50 employee business to be a big business or small business? -
For all the naysayers who said they wouldn't, they in fact did this weekend. Melania and Barron now reside in the WH. http://www.abc10.com/news/nation-now/trumps-son-barron-officially-moves-into-the-white-house/447902350

Not as many people today work full-time as in the past because of Obamacare. -

You're math is incorrect. If a full-time employee makes $15 an hour, that person makes $31,200 a year. Full-time at 40 hours a week = 2,080 hours worked a year. $48,000 divided by 2080 = $23.07 an hour. If your claiming an employer's total cost for an employee being paid $15 an hour is $23.07 you would be wrong again as it would be far less than that. If you base labor cost on the basics: workers comp insurance, unemployment insurance, and employer share of Social Security you can add roughly $1.25 an hour to it, making it a cost of $16.35 an hour. -

I see the liberal support for minimum wage increases and a "living wage" mandate nothing more than exploiting the poor because liberals know those increases will not reduce poverty. Now you claim you received A's in your college econ classes. Do you really believe increasing the minimum wage or the creation of a government mandate dictating a "living wage" will decrease poverty? If so, what facts do you have that will support you? -

A government mandate for a "living wage" would not eliminate or reduce poverty. For decades now, the left has said an increase in the minimum wage would decrease poverty, increase the middle-class and create job growth in this country. Historical data shows that has never happened. In fact the results have been job loss, increases in consumer prices resulting in less purchasing power for the middle-class, and poverty not decreasing. A government mandated "living wage" would have the same results. If Bob currently makes $7.25 an hour and Dave makes $10 an hour, and the minimum wage incr -

My brother and I did the same thing as we sat two nights a week to watch it. ABC cancelled the program after the third season. NBC was going to pick it up, but cancelled that after it was discovered the sets had been destroyed. The network felt the cost of rebuilding the sets would not be worth the investment. I remember seeing the Batman movie when it first came out.
