Wait, it's ok for you to say you've seen some pretty bizarre things but no one else can? Geez!!

The immoral senator from Bremen makes a mockery of Christian values and from what I've seen most of his supporters are right in the gutter with him. Can you say white trash?

Let's talk about wasteful and extravagant spending
Proud Independent replied to LPPT's topic in Paulding County NEWS
Wow!! It's rare someone proves so easily that they are quite an a$$hole but you did it with your little rant. Seems mommy didn't give you enough attention or weened you off a little too quickly. I'm sure you would never say the things you did to LPPT's face, especially if her fromer body building husband was there, and I suspect Jamie Gilbert could take you out as well Mr. Keyboard Super Hero. You really should consider changing your avatar to Ace and Gary, it's so much more appropriate. -

Because he called for transparency throughout the election but his platform was anything but and his educational background was called into question but not once did he show he ever graduated from high school. I swear there is more background information available on Obama than him but keep believing what you want about Mr. Crowe.

Board of Commissioners Decide to Raise Tax Millage
Proud Independent replied to kp527's topic in RECENT TOPICS
You got it. I really had to laugh with his "It's About People" crap he was trying to fool voters with. What he really meant was "It's About People I'm Friends With". -
Board of Commissioners Decide to Raise Tax Millage
Proud Independent replied to kp527's topic in RECENT TOPICS
You do realize Tony Crowe was promising to expand county government by hiring more county employees, giving raises and ending all furlough days. Rollbacks would have looked like a huge a$$ tax cut compared to the increase Crowe would have shoved down your throat. It's about people dontcha know!! -

I've agreed and disagreed with some on here. Sorry if you feel my attacking some for their bizarre and disingenuous positions is being a "crony". The same can be said for the Crowe love fest some of you engaged in. Don't let the door hit you.where the good Lord split ya. -

Board of Commissioners Decide to Raise Tax Millage

Whitey: That is not correct. It is a 0.764 mill change. $100,000 x 40% x .000764 is $30. -

Bill Heath issues a challange for Bill Carruth
Proud Independent replied to noahsdad's topic in Paulding County NEWS
Great points. Heath has never cared about anything that effects Paulding. All he offers is extreme talking points and what can personally benefits him. The immoral senator from Breaman's time is up. -
To all my supporters, Thank You!

Paulding Reservoir one step closer to reality

Well the two aren't necessarily mutually exclusive. You could build a toll road and a bridge to cross the reservoir. -
Paulding Reservoir one step closer to reality
Proud Independent replied to gpatt0n's topic in Fastread page
Where is the "I will say no to anything that's good for Paulding County" crowd that told us we would never see the resevoir (Tony Crowe's spelling) be built? Your silence speaks volumes. -
Yes. The only time I ever missed a vote was this year's presidential primary.

Why are some of the candidates hiding?
Proud Independent replied to Proud Independent's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I was mainly referring to videos but even on the websites and when some of the candidates answers questions on here they seem to only talk in broad terms such as "it's about people not politics", "we didn't vote for an airport", "we will help small business", "we will stop wasteful spending", "we will be transparent", etc. Those are campaign slogans or broad ideas. What specific policies will they push for if elected? I'm completely in the dark and I can't be the only voter that feels that way. -
Why are some of the candidates hiding?
Proud Independent replied to Proud Independent's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I understand that but some of us can't make it out to those events and rely on the videos posted on various sites not just PCOM to introduce us to the candidates and their positions. I see a lot generalities being tossed around and catch phrases but not much in the way of specific actions. Even on here with those people that know the candiates personally you don't see much in the way of specifics. It's frustrating to many voters. -
I want to know why two of the candidates running for post positions are affraid to go on camera and state their positions to the voters of Paulding. I just watched Dave Carmichael's interview on another news site and he has appeared on PCOM. His opponent has not. I have watched Commission Chairman Austin's interview on PCOM and the other site and while his opponent has appeared on the other site he did not answer a single question about policy or how he would address pressing county issues. Tomorrow is election day and two of the candidates are as clear as Mississippi mud about their plans if

I know it's hard for you not to make a fool of yourself but in the future you may want to check if there is sewer either at sites he once owned or where he lives.
