That seems to be the running consent. I google imaged them, and it does kind of look like the trees I saw. I just hope I see some green on my "stick" redbud this year. Poor little thing looks sad.

I just said to DH that I need to get a picture of one and post it! Off to google cherry tree........nope....not it....flowers are bigger. Almost like partially opened pink magnolia flowers, but no tell tale big green magnolia leaves on the tree. No leaves at all on the tree and the flowers are starting to fall off, so I think they've opened as much as they are going too. Dang....I just need to take the camera with me next time I'm out driving.

Nah....flowers really large. And I love dogwoods so I would have recongized that, or azaleas. Our azaleas haven't started to bloom yet. Thanks for the reassurance on the redbud. It's looks still alive to me (not all dried out) and I'm watching it for any signs of blooming, but I wasn't expecting it this year.

So do you think it's unusual that my little stick of a redbud we planted in October hasn't bloomed this year? I kind of thought it might not this first year.

We got pear trees, so I knew that one. But what is the one with the really large pink/white flowers?? (googling camelia to see if that's it) Nope..don't think that's it.

I think we should all get together this afternoon and have a drink and discuss this further!!! Did anyone get liquor yesterday???

I'm thinking the tree with the purply/ pinkish flowers might be Eastern Redbuds. Which are beautiful, but my little "stick" of a redbud hasn't bloomed out, so I find that disappointing. I'm fairly certain it's still alive and hasn't died. Would it not bloom out this first year?? We just planted it in October. I have NO IDEA what the second tree (see above post) is.
