So sad, so young! Prayers for the family

I know that death is hard, today is the 1 year anniversary that my 96 YO Grandma passed away. While I miss her, and think of her daily, I also know that she lived a VERY long, happy life. When you get that age, most of your friends are gone, and it is lonely. I hope that this family will find "peace in death" also. I just know that the above thoughts really helped me and my family get through Grandma's death.

Wow! She made it to 100, and lived alone! May she rest in peace. Prayers and thoughts going to her family

That is a aweful cancer to have. My FIL passed away of it . While they are making great strides in the treatment of it, there is almost never a remission case in this type of cancer. So, very sad.

I'm so sorry. I know what your going through, my Grandma, just passed away in March, at the age of 96 (2 months shy of 97). I can tell you that while you don't see any light right now, it does and will get better and easier to deal with. She will always be missed, but the memories will over power the sadness. For she in now in a wonderful, warm, happy place, with her husband of so many years. My prayers are with you and your family.
