My daughter made it to state finalist for GA in the National American Miss Pageant this past weekend. It was her first one but she really impressed me with how well she did. We were doing it just for fun and to try something new and it turned out to be better than I ever thought it would. She was in the pre-teen (she's 13). The people who worked the show were fantastic, made it easy for the parents and were very helpful, and most important of all, made it fun for the girls. FYI - I heard that the R22 refrigerant that we all use in our systems is no longer going to be used soon... so I would look into a unit that uses the new stuff... plus they should be cheaper now cus they are new to the market. just something to think about.

you know what we also do... and it helps with the bill... we have an attic fan... it still stays hot in the attic but if we HAVE to go up there we wont die from it. plus it helps to keep your unit a bit cooler and then not work as hard. Easy Chicken Gravy: water (as much as you need for the gravy) chicken base (to taste as if you're making soup but be careful, it can become salty if you use too much) mix of cornstarch and water for thickening. make sure water and chicken base is boiling before adding cornstarch or you'll get clumps. Chicken base works better than cubes but you can use either one. I prefer the base. and then ta-dah!! instant gravy. I hope this helps. I do the same with beef gravy also.
