I am still having trouble with mine.. and he is in 10th grade... I finally had to just let it be... I check his grades but dont nag on the homework... if I see a grade slip then I tell him that he better get the grade up or no phone or whatever. the question is do you want to terminate his rights... which means you terminate your child's rights to inheritance. If this is not a concern to you then have your husband adopt your child. We are going through a similar thing with my son, who is 15 now. We are going through that now... it is a hard choice to make. my son did the same thing in middle school... his dad was going to pick him up for camping and accidently brought the knife... didnt even know he had it until he got home and pulled it out of his jacket (his dad ended up not being able to get off work in time to pick him up from school) someone on the bus saw him pull it from his jacket and - even though he was on our property - he got in trouble for it.

we do the same we also spray it on the house separate with a sprayer (like the one you use for pest control), then go back with the pressure washer and rince it...

When my son was in Pre K we invited some close friends to his party with the family.. but did do a birthday celebration at the school with his class... that might be the way to go.. that way you can get all the kids in one fell swoop... we waited until he was in big kid school to invite them to a party.

I am letting her be a baby... at 6 months old it isnt like she can choose anything yet.... why can't this just be about having fun and meeting some new people that have kids my kids age???
