I "heard" from a girl that goes to school there that there is a possiblity that it was murder, suicide or she was hit by a car. Not sure if that is true. Either way, that is just too sad for words.

Starting next school year I will have a 7 year old and an almost 12 year old. I am thinking about letting them ride the bus home together in the afternoons. Are there certain rules about children being home alone for about 2 hours in the afternoons? I work about 10 minutes away. I'm really nervous about it and just curious how old other peoples children were when you started letting them stay alone.
