Congrats to you. It feels like only yesterday that I was having my kids. Now they are 17,19 and 20. I just love newborn babies. Those little faces they make. Everything! Go jump the railroad tracks, and trek out to Arbor place and walk A LOT!! My Aunt took me out to Hunter Park and walked me for 3 hrs. She wouldn't let me rest for anything. The next morning my water broke.

Probably some little underage punks doing it, and thinking it's funny. My 1st guess would be neighborhood kids, if it all happened in the one subdivision. I saw it on the 5 o'clock news as well. All I can say is they wouldn't want me to catch them messing with my car. I hope they catch who ever did it very soon, because if not who's to say the next time it won't be homes they target?

If wellstar keeps having to pay huge fines for frauding medicare/medicaid, they may not have the funds to build a new hospital in Paulding co. They can't expand the existing hospital in the city, and just put up parking garages like they are eventually going to do at Douglas? It would be nice to see Hwy 92 widened all the way to the crossroads. That's a dangerous little stretch of road where it goes from Paulding to Cobb and back to Paulding. If anything they need turning lanes atleast.

I also hate to open a can of worms, but I am anyway. I learned the hard way that when you are the most down, you will be turned away in many cases from getting any help. Greystone doesn't help, but they will give you the name and number of places in your area that will help. Just going by personal exp., they do not help much at all. My husband was laid off back in 2008. We went to a place to get help with our electric bill. They would only give us $100 once a yr. The salvation army has a different program,but good luck getting in touch with them. You can only call 1st thing Monday to make an appointment, and the phone stays busy.

I'd personally keep questioning the one particular friend of Shanes who posted on facebook on the 28th, that he was on his way to Orlando. His latest status update is pretty vulgar, so apparently I am not the only one questioning his truthfullness. If he is lying he needs to realize that he is harboring a runaway, and can face charges as well. Again it could just be a coincidence that he just so happened to be heading down there the same day Starr took off(later saying she was in Orlando), but I wouldn't hold him to his word. Right now there will be a lot of CYOA going on.

I just try to put myself in your shoes as the Mom of a 19 and 21 yr. old Daughters. I'd want to ring their necks, and the boy but I'd look past all of that just to have them home safe. Do you believe they are indeed back in the area, or still down in FL? I forwarded all info over, and will continue to post periodically on facebook since many on my friend list are at work right now. I won't bash him, but do agree with you that he knows what is coming down the pipe and they are scared. They should atleast just call no matter what their intentions are at this point. I was saying the same thing pretty much that you have said. I can't imagine what you are going through. Do you have reason to believe they are still in the area or still in FL? Do you think they even went to FL to begin with, or just said that to buy extra time? My younger Brother is a Sgt. With the Douglasville police dept. If you have any reason to believe they could be in this area, I would be more than happy to pass any info along to him. Darn. I hate to hear that. I was hoping she came home over night and perhaps they were at the Sheriffs Dept., since there have been no morning updates yet. She is only going to make matters worse by continuing to run. Come home and face the music later. The damage has already been done.

I keep checking her Moms facebook page, but no updates as of yet. None actually since around midnight, so maybe she is back home. I hope so. I can not imagine what her whole family are feeling right now with the worry and the wonder of where she is.

I only posted Ga laws, since I saw others asking about them. I have also posted the info on my facebook page as well as pictures of Starr that were taken only a day before she ran away. I already have other friends on my friend list who have also posted all of the info. We are keeping it going,so that Starr is found safe and sound. I am a parent too. My girls are grown now, but it wasn't very long ago that they too were 16.
