I told someone the other day that if he would have just ignored me, I would have eventually gone away when my posts faded into a distant pcom memory. The letter sent me over the edge. I went from being pissed off because I had to fire him and hire a new lawyer to being threatened....and I didn't go to a happy place over it. To be honest, I was all set to apologize and retract, but I just couldn't.

I downloaded Google Chrome and it's working. It was weird that I could post, but I couldn't see my posts.

Mei Lan--- Here is the letter he sent me. I blocked out my name and address....because I don't need crazy people showing up at my house and putting DD signs in my yard It's real and it scared the crap out of me when I first got it, which I'm certain was the intention.

I have a PC, but have used a Mac....my next buy will be a Mac. I have no good reason for making this change, except that they make me look cooler.

My screen keeps getting stuck on the video and won't load past that. I have to hit "add reply" to see what others wrote. Is it just me?

Dude, just watched the video.....wideload? Did he really call you wideload? Wow. (for the record, I LMFAO at the video....puppies, chicks, and a-bombs.....oh, and Skeletor!)

DD hasn't won an election, has he? He lost a bid for sheriff in the 90s and the runoff to Lane a few years ago. This is his third election and it took to a runoff.

I think that's where I'm baffled. -
I would be at a hotel after the first few hours....I'm a B if I'm not comfortable in my own home.

More on the 'Proposed' Mosque in NYC

This thread broke my heart. 1. People are very quick to throw out a portion of the 1st amendment because, for this group to exercise the "freedom of religion" aspects, is un-American. I believe that exercising our Constitutional rights is the most American thing anyone can do. 2. David Koresh was left alone until he started breaking laws. People were free to worship him as they wished. It wasn't the worship that brought that situation down, it was violated laws. 3. Who cares where the $110 million came from? In Singapore, there is a Mosque with soy sauce bottle caps around the dom -
You should advertise that! Do you do fancy drinks? I love a Chai tea latte, but never drive past a startbucks

This is usually the case for me too. Just for fun, I send an email to the parents letting them know it's going home....then I print the email and file it. It's good ammo during conference week when *I* am the reason their child is failing.

I give assignments over breaks, but they're "recovery" assignments or extra credit things. Basically, work the kids didn't do during the grading period. Most still don't do it, but I document that it was given (when the parents come running to blame me for something). As far as "real" projects---I've given them, the Friday before the break rather than the Monday we get back so kids can get a jumpstart. The due date is the same regardless of if it's given on Friday or Monday. Crackheads As for the September start----the state needs to stay out of it. It should be a local de

4 classes of 30 kids is more than enough to fill that week and then some.

I like all of the breaks....I think they're good for the students. :duckandcover:

I saw 2 situations today where there were signs laying on the ground and one standing....I didn't get out of the car to look so they could have been old signs and supporters wanted their runoff people to be seen. You can't blame a candadate for a rogue supporter...some get out of control and think they're helping.

I'm a math person so I dig numbers. Are you going to Snick's this weekend?
-
dude, I've been top poster the last several days....you just gotta pick the right threads I've been in the school vent and political forum more than I care to be.

Do you guys have an alarm that goes off whenever NC and I post in the same thread? I hope *everyone* behaves themselves this evening!

I don't often go north of 278. As for the south side, unofficially I would say there are close to 5+ DD signs for every Lane sign I see....except for the guy on 61 between New GA and Villa Rica who has Lane signs the whole length of his property. At 4 way stops, I'll see 1 Lane sign surrounded by 3-4 DD signs. I'd be interested to see how the south side voted vs. the north side on county wide positions.

I haven't seen many Lane signs. Maybe I live in the wrong part of the county....but take a drive down Ridge Rd and you'll see what I'm talking about. This wasn't a negative comment, but simply an observation. I still would like to know the approximate costs of one of those signs...
