  1. My husband and son will both be camping with Scouts - one with Boy Scouts, and the other doing leader training. I was thinking since it would just be and the littler one, we might try to go to the Tellus Museum for the Astrology Day.
  2. Thank you very much. We are consumers, too, so we know the feeling.
  3. Go ahead and show it to him then!!! Be happy to trade out work with you guys - need the windows re-tinted on my car.
  4. My husband said that he could probably have it back to you in the 2-3 day time frame, but he wouldn't be able to get it until the first part of the week. He's training with Scouts this weekend. Could pick it up the first part of the week, though, and have it back to you mid-week.
  5. Thank you very much. Thank you.
  6. Thank you! He was trying to do something other than the regular plain black vinyl. We are going to deliver it tonight after Scouts - so I can't wait to see if they like it!!! We do pick ups, too, whenever you're ready. Wasn't it just a repair on your recliner? Thank you. The hubby is quite happy with it. He's been wanting to cover something in that lime green for a while now. He covered another chair in a grey look-alike ostrich skin vinyl. It was pretty cool, too, but he forgot to take a picture for me.
  7. Here is a picture of a tattoo chair that my husband covered for a local business. He painted the base purple and the seat area is lime green vinyl.
  8. Check out the chair that my husband covered for a local business.
  9. We actually don't do the refinishing work in the shop (not nearly enough room, and certainly not all the right equipment). We send it out, but the guy that we use is local (off of Cedarcrest). I would be happy to get his name from my husband. We didn't do any mark up on the dining chairs since she was having us cover them when they were finished. If there is nothing to cover, dealing directly with him would save you the mark up that we would have to do. We just try to keep it honest, and save our customer money whenever we are able. Just let me know if you'd like his number. He did a TER
  10. Thank you very much. I told our customer that I would love to have that set. She also has a table to go with them, and a buffet. She is planning on having the table and buffet refinished to match the chairs perfectly.
  11. Here are some photos of some tufted dining room chairs that we delivered a couple of weeks ago. They were completely stripped and refinished prior to covering - and now have a beautiful purple suede. Gorgeous. Before After
  12. Dixie Sporting Goods on South Main Street in Acworth. It is right across the street from our shop before you get to the old Day's Chevrolet building. 770-975-7411 We used them to do some embroidering for us on our Cub Scout hats. They have done a good job on everything that they've done for us, and had a pretty good turn around time.
  13. That would depend on how much of a repair it is. Usually restitching isn't a big deal. If you have a picture of it, you can email it to me. Does it have top stitching?
  14. You can mail them to 4561 S. Main Street - Acworth, GA 30101 We will be sure to send some your way, too. Thanks! Thank you very much.
  15. We don't have an embroidery machine, but we have a business that we use for that type of customizing. We rarely have anyone request embroidering, so we haven't seen the need to purchase the equipment. I can get you the name and number of the shop we use if you'd like.
  16. I will definitely put his number in our files. We usually are able to fix most stuff that comes in, but there are certainly times that we have had to send the work out. If you have a business card, you could mail us one, or send it via email.
  17. Thank you very much. I love the way that tufted furniture looks. Yes we do boat upholstery. We usually do one or two custom boat interiors per year, and several that we just cover the pieces that are brought in. Please let me know if we can help you out.
  18. This is a motorcycle seat that we did last year, and I think that I posted it last year. However, I thought that it was worth reposting since it is getting so pretty outside.
  19. Here is a parsons chair that was completed this week. It started off as just a plain parsons chair (don't have the before pic), but the customer requested that it be tufted for its return.
  20. That price is awesome! I was just telling my husband the other day that I wanted to get some red added to my blonde highlights for the winter. That beats the price that I've been paying! Where are you located - and will this price be good the entire month of November?
  21. Deepest and most sincere sympathy for the family and friends.... I have talked to my husband about this several times over the past few days, and can't even talk about it without tearing up. It really goes to show that you never know what is in store for you. I will be watching for the post with information about contributing to the memorial fund. We would like to help in whatever way we can.
  22. Several years ago, right after my husband and I first got married, we woke up to strange noises outside our house at about 2:00 in the morning to find his ex-wife in the ditch of our yard. She claims to have been walking her cat - the stray that had been hanging around our house for about a month. My husband's father used to tell him that when it rained, all the trash would gather in the ditch. It wasn't raining, but there she was....maybe it was her walking her stupid cat again.
  23. I would also like to extend my condolences. I am a Hendrick racing fan to the core and I just broke down and cried when I heard the news. I feel so bad for that entire family to have lost so many people at one time. Rick Hendrick just doesn't seem to be able to get a break this year with his father dying and his leukemia. I didn't hardly sleep last night thinking about what that family is going through.
