What's wrong with these?

I saw this story on 11 Alive News, the county attorney for Newton County gets paid over a million dollars as a year to act as the county attorney. He is also a consultant and project manager for the development on their water reservoir and after 17 years, there is no reservoir, nor an official federal permit to build a reservoir. What does this have to do with or BoC and Paulding county? It turns out that for 5 years, this same guy acted as a consultant for our reservoir here in Paulding county and (if my math is correct) we paid him close to 1.2 million dollars for those five years.

I don't know this guy or what was in his heart or head, but he chose that when he went running to them. I'm sorry they didn't think he was a hero for defecting to them. Look, in every war there are good men who just can't go on any longer, but they do not run over to the other side. He did, now he has to be accountable for it. Just like when in a relationship that is going really really bad, someone snaps and attacks the other person. They have to be accountable for it and take what's coming to them and move on, hopefully a better person for it.

Sounds like a smart boy. Glad he is safe. When you get kids, you figure out why your parents hugged you and yelled at you at the same time after you did something dumb that scared them. Not saying that this boy did something dumb, I am saying that this boy (me) did.

I was under the impression from what I have read and heard that four men did die as the result of his desertion. If that is incorrect, it would make some difference in what sentence I personally would give him, but he still needs to be accountable to our military and their punishment.

I think the main thing about this deserter is that he didn't just run away, he ran to the other side. Also, by the act of running away he helped get some of his fellow soldiers killed. During the Civil War President Lincoln pardoned many deserters, but at the same time many more were either executed or, later in the war, branded with a "D" on the hip, then sent back to fight. In my opinion, this man not only deserted, but by that act helped get his fellow comrades killed. He deserves to be punished for that, punished by the American Army. Whatever he endured while he was with the enemy

The story is obviously a hoax. Anyone who has ever dealt with Comcast, or any cable provider for that matter, knows that they only hire top of the line customer service reps and that even though Comcast owns half the world, their only concern is that their customers receive the best treatment and service for the lowest cost possible. In fact, there is a large movement to replace Mother Teresa with Comcast as the one that has sacrificed for themselves to help the most people.
