Why would I not wish to hear that? I like that. I know it doesn't answer the question precisely, but then again it does give an answer. I am considered very conservative on most things, but then liberal on others. (I started to put "very" liberal, but since my wife is very liberal, I am realize I am more standard liberal)

I would hope that this does not turn into a bashing of one side or the other. I also request that we do not single out any one person or a group of people. I was just wondering what you thought about the overall makeup of Pcom posters. My answer is about an equal number of both. I base my answer on the fact that, from what I can see, the conservatives seem to feel there is an overwhelming amount of liberals on Pcom and by the same token, the liberals seem to feel there is an overwhelming amount of conservatives on Pcom. Nope, but I quite often do show her what I post. I have never, nor would never, post something that I wouldn't want her to read. She rarely cares about what I post, but sometimes after reading one of my posts, she mentions that I am....let's just say she says either disagrees with me or worries about having to feed me strained peas (and wipe my mouth) very soon.

There is a good movie that refers to this, 1987's Broadcast News. Starring Albert Brooks, Holly Hunter and William Hurt. Albert Brooks' character, who is an "old style" news reporter, makes an observation about William Hurt's character. William Hurt plays a "new style" reporter, who makes sure he is on camera as much as the person he is interviewing. Here is Brooks' quote, speaking sarcastically about the "new style reporters": "Let's never forget, we're the real story, not them." It is a funny, but serious movie and a good one.
