I would have no problem walking the trail by myself, but then I am an overweight, older man. Not a prime target for anything. If I was a female, I would still use the trail, but I would always try to use it with another person and not by myself. I also agree with some type of weapon, mace, stick, gun, whatever works for you.

It has to be a conspiracy and we are victims also. My wife had her car broken into 3 times several years ago. OK, they really didn't break into the car because she never locked it, but still, I am sure she was targeted by a group who opposed her plans. I have heard of other people having their accounts hacked and their house broken into, many who are neither in this county or state. See how big the conspiracy is, it's everywhere! I have no big issues with open carry. I do have issues with someone who does it for the attention. I was thinking the other day that when I was a kid, we used to walk around parts of Smyrna with a .22 rifle or a .410 shotgun to go to where we were going to meet and do some shooting. I don't recall any problems with people wondering what we were doing or where we were going. You know, if you get so many tickets, they revoke your privilege to drive. I say we do the same thing with people having babies. You have so many children that you can't take care of, you lose your baby making privilege. This would apply to both the man and woman. And for those who are going to say, "You can't do that! You can't make it where people can't have babies!" I say this, isn't bringing life into the world a bigger responsibility than driving a car?
