I am with you all the way to the end!! (You aren't suggesting that we pick our own cotton though....are you? Cause if that's the case....you're on your own brother.)

And...it's catchy!

"Don't be stupid, be a smarty, come and join the Nazi party!" Listen and you will recognize Mel Brooks's voice saying that line. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHmYIo7bcUw

Yeah he is. He reminds me of me...except he is black....bigger....stronger....in better shape.....younger.....and probably has more hair....but otherwise, we could be twins.

I wish someone would call me with some money. I could use it. My buddy who I have been helping get his gold bars out of Nigeria just needs a few more dollars...and then we are good to go.

He had two of them.....arms that is.

We have a rock quarry? -
For this song being stuck in my head.

Let me explain better. These people had not even been charged in a court for killing anyone. The only charge the federal government wanted John Dillinger for was a charge of driving a stolen car across state lines.

For the past 25 years I have worked to help and had close friends who came from all walks of life, but most either started or ended up with a lot of problems, legal and otherwise. One of my good and close friends, now passed, was a professional criminal before he turned his life around. While I would have trusted this man with the most precious thing I had, my baby boy, it was only because he had sought out help and changed his life around. Before that happened, he would say that society, and his wife and mother, had decided that they were better off with him in prison and then he would say

None of the people in my original post had been convicted of killing anyone, nor were they an "immediate threat". Yet, the lawmen involved were considered heroes. In fact, my first example is credited with helping make the FBI what it became. Whether the FBI would have ever became a national force for law and order, as we know today, is a good question.

I agree there are a lot of good people around.

I think it has more to do with the fact that back then, people had enough common sense to know who the good guys were and who the bad guys were.
-
Apparently he was only unarmed because he couldn't get the gun away from the cop. Do you not see that someone that will fight with a cop to get his gun will do anything to anyone? Ohhh, wait.....I forgot, common sense is no longer allowed. ETA This is real simple, get out of the road when a car is coming. Respect your elders and the authorities. Don't fight with the cops and try to get their guns. Don't run from the cops. Basically, behave like, as my father would say,a person who has some sense. If any of the above had happened, the little thug would still be alive to rape, rob an

Behaving like an animal doesn't help either.

Now that is something I think we can all agree on. My opinion on the family? I have none. (I wonder if something is wrong with me)

The information is completely correct. Please loom it up. It was Dillinger and B&C, I didn't mention them because there is so much misinformation about them. No worship, not by a long shot. (no pun intended) Perhaps it just the fact that I make a difference between those who are trying to obey the law and those who break the law.

The ship is sinking.

But have they changed for the better? I guess like anything in life, it depends on how you see it. While there are many many examples of this change, I will give you just two. Both take place in 1934. Example #1 A man wanted by federal agents for....driving a stolen car across state lines, attends a movie with his girlfriend. When he leaves the movie theater he notices the federal agents and starts to run. He is shot down and killed. While there is disagreement about whether or not the man even had a weapon, there is no disagreement that the man was fleeing and that the man never

What? He has already been arrested? I would have thought a guy like him would have just blended in with the rest of society, making it hard to know who he was. (sarcasm) -
