To all you Parents with toddlers, what are some fun, unusual things to do around town, that are safe and cheap. Now that the pools are closed, it's hot, lol. I've been taking my daughter to Ben Hill park on 92 to feed the ducks a lot, we found the waterfall, library...any other interesting things or places to go? Are there any local Mom play groups. My daughter is 3. Just looking for something fun to do, that's different. All suggestions welcome! Also, any great places to take pictures? Where she can play and have fun but its also pretty? I saw the commercial too. My father was in a terrible auto accident in March last year, and thankfully there was a trauma center nearby where he lives(in huntsville) but I am ALL for supporting the building of more, it's just that you never know where your money is going to go. I saw it was also for teh "training" of doctors, and thought, aren't they trained laready, and all I could think of was big fancy "training trips" for them to go on. I may be wrong..but I woudl vote yes just because I think we need mmore centers, although I'm not sure how fast they would come around since they also have

I think this website is the best! It's such a neat way to get in touch with people in your community and find out, even the little things. I've lived in dallas for about 1 1/2 years now, and don't have many friends, but do actually kinda feel connected at least a little with my community. Thank you everyone for being so nice!

OK, so I'm mentioning the "unmentionables" I am fairly new to the area..;what are "the tunnels" and where are they?

I have lived in Dallas for about 1 1/2 years, and still don't really know my way around that well. I guess i need to get out more. My question is, in my old town we used to have a newspaper where they advertised upcoming yard sales. I get a paulding paper once a week, but don't see any in there. How do you guys find out about yard sales, and what days they are on(like if they are on a friday) Thanks, Jaime

You can go to any dollar store like dollar general..or even walmart and go to the "ethnic" beauty section and get some stuff called "Cholesterol" I've used it on my hair before it's really cheap and works good, although you may have to use it first then use shampoo afterwards
