  1. I'm so sorry for your loss BB. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts.
  2. I've heard nothing but good things about it. I have a few friends who went and loved it.
  3. Yes it adds to the flavor and even changes it a bit. I'm not a huge fan of bay leaf but for some recipes like beef stew I think its worth adding for an extra depth of flavor. I sometimes will break a bay leaf in half and only use half. It basically boils down to personal preference and taste.
  4. I've already cancel school for my kid.
  5. If the McRib was available year-round I would be so healthy.
  6. From the article- “It has added to confusion in discussions about the expansion of our dinner theaters to new locations across the country and around the world,” Owens said in a statement. The show is centered on patriotism, not Dixie land. If you want to grow a business it's important to let possible patrons know what they're spending their money on. But I'm not surprised to see Fox News spinning it into some sort of PC controversy. Most people probably aren't that concerned about it one way or the other. Well, except for those who still can't get over the fact that the South lost.
  7. Anyone who knows of Dolly shouldn't be surprised by this. She's a very loving and inclusive person. Her good deeds far outshine any made up controversy about the removal of a word.
  8. It can't get here soon enough! I'm one of those people who like cloudy days so I'm happy today. I love not freezing.
  9. I hear if Oprah wins we all get a new car.
  10. I can assure you that nobody is having a bigger laugh than us "snowflakes".
  11. I don't believe she said she's going to run for president. I think people are just excited about her kick ass speech last night and want her to run.
  12. You men and your one-track minds...
  13. 1. Aren't there already tell all books about Obama? I had always assumed there were. I think every president has one. Doesn't bother me. It's up to the reader to decide what they want to believe or not. Before the election I read a few articles written by people who have interviewed Trump in the past. The behavior from him that they described is pretty much on par with everything we've witnessed in this first year of his presidency. I find that most of the time when Trump goes on one of his tirades against someone who spoke ill of him, he usually ends up proving them right. I will probably rea
  14. I seem to remember you calling out people for being hateful, but only when it's people you disagree with. You and others have been happy to contribute to the hatefulness under the Obama Administration. Hmmmmm. So lets not be fake. I was never really offended by the term snowflake but I did question those who used it after an election in which people were legitimately upset at the outcome (now we see why). At this point I call it like I see it. Enough time has passed and we are beyond the point of knee jerk reactions. To still think Trump was a good idea is a conscious decision and one I have n
  15. It's so funny to watch Trumpflakes melt over this book. Especially when everyone knows that Trump is unstable and unfit and the author is probably more credible than Trump. It kind of reminds me of an addict that gets mad when confronted with the fact that they have a problem.
  16. Considering this administration is like nothing we've ever seen before (everyone should be able to admit that) and the fact that Trump is trying so hard to stop it, of course people are going to be interested in reading it. Not because they hate anything or anyone but because, curiosity. There have been plenty of books written about Obama and every president. Some of y'all have even taken excerpts from books written about Obama and posted about them as fact. No reason to get upset about this book and what it may contain, of course unless you're Donald Trump.
  17. My dad loves liver. I've never tried it. He used to sing a song about it when we were kids. "I love liver, liver's good for me. When I eat my liver, I grow up like a tree" A popular food that I've tried and don't like is Nutella. Blech.
  18. Y'all really should stop with the idea that people are melting down or have no lives because they recognize the absurdity in some of the things that President says and does. Might be time to toughen up a little bit. I think we all know you guys wouldn't be silent if it were Obama doing and saying these things. Don't be a hypocrite.
