  1. Self-rising flour mixed with HOT water to make a thick liquid, then mix it with the soup. Stir continuously. Repeat until you get the thickness you desire. You can also use cornstarch to get the same effect using hot water to disolve it and slowly mix and stir into your soup.
  2. Lots of sirens. Went down the street and then stopped. Anyone heard anything?
  3. I tried to post and it disappeared...so here it is again. I had a glider and she was lonely so I rehomed her with a family in Alabama. Now she has a colony and is very happy. If you want to contact Lynn for info her email is mzfrog@yahoo.com. She is a great mama to these little guys. It would be ideal if you could have a room "just" for the gliders. If you are going to get one, then you should get two so they keep each other company. Best scenario would be 2 of the same sex unless you want to have baby ones. They are very sociable and need companionship. Yes they are nocturnal as I'm sure you
  4. Just a tidbit of info. Be very careful with St. John's Wart. It doesn't go with certain prescription meds. Talk with your pharmacist before ever taking herbs or vitamins if you are on prescription meds. Certain ones thin your blood, etc...Good luck.
  5. Atlanta Gastroenterology Assoc. Biggest one in Georgia. Great company. For those with Chrohns, they have Remicade treatment. Call them. They now have an office in Hiram, in the new medical building there on Atlanta Hwy, and Dallas Hwy intersection. Look for Dr. Salzberg, or Dr. Wolf, Dr. Brandenburg, not in Hiram, they are at St Joseph's Hospital, 6th floor. Your choice. Check out the site and go from there. I do know the Remicade treatments are at St. Joseph's unless they have expanded to other offices. www.atlantagastro.com/ Here it is for you. Call them. I saw amazing results for peopl
  6. I no longer look at my birthday as a day to celebrate and have a good time. It should be a quiet time to honor those who died ON my birthday during the attack on our country. But it is also an angry time in my heart and I hope and wish for those who did this to be brought to justice. My birthday will never be the same. I cry everytime throughout and think of them all. I stopped watching TV on my birthday thinking it would make it better. It didn't. The pain of this day will never leave me. I love and honor them ALL.
  7. Wish someone would open Honey Baked Ham Company, or a Red Lobster. We have to drive away to get good seafood. Honey Baked Ham is a good drive. AND the Mrs. Winner's has closed in Dallas. Bo Jangle's doesn't compare to Kentucky or Mrs. Winner's. And OMG...try to get a biscuit at Martin's on Saturday or Sunday morning! Errrr...
