  1. Well, I pulled into my driveway half an hour ago...on empty. No gas to be found and I need some NOW!

I bought at the Marathon right off of 278 last night (right beside Tractor Supply). It was $3.97 and they only had unleaded, but they had it as of 6 last night.

  2. Nope, nothing you can do. Basically when you were sued, and did not file an answer to the lawsuit, you admitted that you owe the debt. A Default Judgment was entered against you. The only choice you have at this point is to call the attorney and see if they will work with you on a payment plan. They will usually require a down payment to release the garnishment and then the promise of monthly payments thereafter. If you default again, they will put the garnishment back in place and will not release it again.

  3. We'll see, RaidersRock!

I rather wait until next year, before I see a doctor. I can't afford to go to a doctor this year. I don't think I'll need to see a doctor next year, either, unless McCain wins. If McCain wins the doctor situation will be just like it is this year; I want be able to afford it.

I will be seeing a doctor this year and next, and so will my husband and my daughter. Know why? Because I am responsible enough to have obtained insurance for myself and for my family. I do not expect, nor do I want, the government to provide substandard health care for me. I guess it is all in the priorities you set for yourself--liquor, cigarettes or health insurance?? I think I will use my money for health insurance....

  4. Several years ago I ate there and had to find the bathroom before I left. I have never been back. Then I saw the health score was like 33 or something, and they never corrected the problems. Places have to be BAD to get a score that low. I say "Eat at your own risk". I will never go back there.

  5. I tried the new place where Business 6 splits off from 278. Behind the Bank and across from Clarks. I was there for lunch a little after 1:00 with only one other fellow in the place. Service was prompt and food was brought out quickly however the fried noodles that are served with the soup had a stale taste and my egg roll cut and chewed as if the outside of it was stale. I had the Mongolian Beef with Fried Rice. The rice tasted like it had been burned and the sauce on the dish was much darker than I'm used to at other places. It was all edible but a disappointment for a first try. That's a shame because I live just down the street. My experience at the Chinese place closer to Dallas behind the Huddle House has been much better. They seem to be always looking for help but the food quality has been better than the new place.

I noticed this place this past weekend and stopped in. I liked it. My food was good. I love Chinese, but have always been disappointed with the places in Paulding. I always went to House of Lu and they changed ownership and are not as good anymore. This place is called Imperial Palace (or something like that). This person may have gone at a bad time. My food was good and the service was good.

  6. Last I knew, she was moving to The Georgian and opening a new studio. I would guess the number is still the same. Also, did you check the website? Is is still up and running? It was a couple of months ago.

  7. Before the Xpress bus it was about 20 hours per week. Now it is 15 minutes to get to the bus and 15 minutes to get home. I put 1-5 and that would include running my child to gym every night and church and errands on the weekend!! AWESOME!! I LOVE the Xpress bus! I spend about 10-11 hours per week on it!!

  8. hehe..I know who you are!! Is that Olli in the picture? I love that doggy!!

  10. So how does that work? If you go and buy a car and a week later they are going to tell you your balance is 54 instead of 49???

You have to deduct the interest every month. It would cause the principal amount to go down so that your interest accruing would also go down. Interest has to be compounded either daily or monthly. Then the payment is applied to interest first and then principal. Your interest rate of 9.9% is then calculated on the remaining principal amount for the next month. Then it is done all over again. Your exact balance would depend on the exact DAY that the payment was applied.

  11. I got $45,797.58 through the 6th of the month. There would be additional interest accruing at $12.42 per day, or 124.20, for a total of 45,921.78, so AP and I are very close!! I figured mine on a monthly basis rather than a daily basic to make it a little simpler. That would account for the difference between AP and mine. AP's is probably more exact.

  12. The ortho I am taking him too now says it's the growth plate in his ankle

That was the problem with my daughter. We went to Resurgeons first and doing the surgery with a pin through the growth plate scared them to death. When we went to Children's they just shrugged their shoulders and did the surgery. Growth plates do not scare them at all because they deal with those problems every day. She ended up having two surgeries, and we have had no problems at all. I highly recommend them for children. That is who they deal with, so they are very competant when it comes to the problems children (and child athletes) have.

I would also highly recommend the Scottish Rite Orthos - they took care of youngest's elbow and they've taken care of five of our neighbors (including Carolg's daughter (hey, girl)). We used Dr. Wilson (love him), but I think someone has told me that he only does knees now.

Like I told you the other day (during my AMAZING hair cut), Daniel at PT solutions is really, really good. He's been amazing as a physical therapist (and as a psych therapist) with oldest. I would highly, highly recommend them to any athletic person (kid or otherwise). He does all of the football team trainers (except Hiram) so they've got alot of experience with not only the injury, but what that sports athlete needs to rehab effectively.

PM me if you need the number.

Hey girl!! No my daughter did not go to Dr. Wilson, she saw Dr. Marshall with Children's. I'll bet they are affiliated somehow. Children's main office is right next to Scottish Rite!!

  13. My daughter tore her ACL a couple of years ago. We went to Children's Orthopedics of Atlanta and saw Dr. Marshall (he does sports medicine-so they are great for athletes). I will not take her anywhere else. She hurt her back this week. I drove all the way to Gwinnett County so that she could see them (they have offices all over and that was the only location that could get her in fast) As a matter of fact, when she tore the ACL we did our physical therapy at Children's also. She loved it. It was in Kennesaw though. I did it for the ACL because ofhow serious that injury is, but don't think I would drive that far 3 days a week for anything less serious. We are going to PT Solutions in Hiram tomorrow for PT on her back. I will let you know how that goes. A lot of the people she did gymnastics and cheer with go there.

  14. I knew about the gas gauge thingy. My husband and I got in an argument because I told him that the arrow is for that reason, and he insisted that it meant that the car still had gas in it if it was at that mark!!! He is the car guy and all--so I got one over on him!!
