  1. I appreciate this type of fundraising much more than the krispy kreme doughnuts at intersections, buckets at intersections and car washes that are held.  I hope that you will raise the funds you need! :)

Thank you for your kind words! With people like these on Paulding.com, we can't lose!

  2. Paulding Gymnastics Level 5 girls team is hosting lunch and dinner at Pizza Hut on today, Tuesday July 12, and all day on Tuesday July 26. If you come in and eat, we will help fill your drinks. In return, if you mention our name to the hostess, we will receive a portion of your check to go toward our fundraising efforts.

Also, every Sunday and Monday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. we will be hosting dinner at Beef O'Brady's in the East Paulding Shopping Center in New Hope. Just place your receipt in our bucket and we will receive a portion of your check to go toward our girls.

Our level 5 girls start their competitive season in September. They are trying to raise enough money to go to various competitions throughout the state of Georgia representing Paulding County.

    Thank you for your support.

  3. Hello!  I am having a problem with my kids pediatricians office.  I am looking for another one.  Who do all you other moms and dads use?  Who is it you wouldn't recommend?

Basically, what I need is a office where you don't have to wait over 30 min in the waiting room (not counting the 30 in the actual exam room).  Where when you call, you can get a "sick"  appointment.  Nice staff and good caring, thurough (sp) Dr's.

I love my Dr., but the wait and office staff have totally done me in.  It seems you find a good place, and the grow, grow and grow until they give awful service!

    Any info would be helpful

  4. If you do, this is the place to be!! Paulding Gymnastics is holding its first annual Carnival to celebrate National Gymnastics Day on Saturday, August 7, 2004. It is supposed to be a beautiful day, so bring the kids and come on out for some inexpensive fun!!!

We will have games and prizes for the kids, hamburgers, hot dogs and Pizza to eat, a consignment sale, and a large raffle.

There will be a moonwalk, a dunking booth, and about 20 games for all ages. The games include a duck pond, a sand box, a soccer kick and a basketball throw, as well as nail painting, face painting and tatoos!!!!! The Chick-Fil-A cow and Dr. Wellbee will both be there!!!!!

The raffle includes an Electric Guitar donated by Dallas Music, 2 rounds of golf at Creekside Country Club, $25 gift certificates from Southern Glitz Salon and Spa, $75 off a birthday party at Sport A Rama, $40 off of a hair cut at Atlanta West Salon, a belt and an earring and necklace set from Ritzy Pixie, Longhorn gift certificates, Stevie B gift certificates, Sparkle gift certificates, and the list continues to grow!!!!

We are going to have a great time and hope you will join us.

The gym is located at 106 Greystone Power Boulevard. From Highway 61, go south on Highway 278. Turn right at the first red light--Cadillac Parkway, then left onto Greystone Power Blvd. You can't miss us. From Highway 92, go north on Highway 278. Turn left onto Cadillac Parkway, then left onto Greystone Power Blvd. The phone number for the gym is 770-445-5525.

Can't wait to see you there!!

  5. Exactly, Publisher. The only thing you can do at this point is call the attorney who is filing the garnishment to see if he will be willing to let you make monthly payments or you can file bankruptcy. You will have to faithfully make the payments or he can refile the garnishment against you. I sent my e-mail address to you through pcom--e-mail me with any questions. This is my work e-mail so I will not be able to respond until Monday, but I will be glad to call you, or give you my work number if you will send me something.

Also in the beginning, you HAVE to answer the lawsuit within 30 days. If you do not file an answer with the court, you have admitted to everything that the attorney has stated in the complaint. If you file the answer, the attorney will usually contact you to work out a payment plan. If you do not file the answer, the judgment is issued and your chance to go to court has passed. You do not go to court on a garnishment. As Publisher said, it is only a tool to collect the underlying judgment that was issued on the original lawsuit.

  6. I work for a collection law office. The first step in the process is the lawsuit. When you are served with the initial lawsuit, you have 30 days to file an answer with the court. If you do not do that, the court will issue a jugment against you. Once the court has issued a judgment against you, and after 10 days has passed, we are at liberty to garnish your bank account or your wages at anytime. The only requirement we have is that we send a "defendant's copy" or the copy from the court with the judges signature, within 10 days from the date the garnishment is served on the garnishee (your job). The only way you will go to court on a garnishment is if you file a Traverse with the court. However, the only argument you have is that the underlying judgment is wrong or that the money owed is wrong. Nothing else is a valid argument on a traverse. In essence, if you failed to answer the lawsuit in the beginning, you are basically out of luck.

Also, we file in the State Court of Cobb County and the Superior Court of Paulding County. It depends on how much money you owe and where the attorney prefers to file. We do not file in any Magistrate Court in any county in Ga.

Any more questions, let me know. I have been doing this for 18 years!!!! Don't hate me--it is just my job and I will help you out in anyway I can.
