I actually agree with you so long as we aren't trading in our freedom. We need to get this economy off dead center and I could care less who gets credit. We could not have survived 8 years of Jimmy Carter and we can't survive four more years like the last four. So whatever it takes (short of giving up any of our freedom) we need to get busy doing it.

Herman Russell isn't exactly a poor person.

There were 800,000 at the circle jerk. I wonder how many airline tickets were paid for by the taxpayers.

And Heath and Braddock was the best you guys could come up with? Back to the drawing board.

I don't do Mondays. Sorry. You'll have to find someone else to bum from today.

Amazing how history portrays MLK.

Nah. That's the sound of 50 million white men WORKING to try to pay the debt that this bunch of idiots will be racking up the next four years.

I agree. The Falcons looked better than the Patriots are looking.

The problem was they didn't play the game in the second half.

Great season. Anything short of a Super Bowl win is disappointing, but this team is no fluke. This second half let down is a coaching issue. Looks like it going to be San Frisco and Baltimore in the Super Bowl. That means I won't be watching.

Surely thou cheezeeth. <<<Wondering if this is going to say sheeze-eth>>>

We need to start a movement to starve this idiot out of here. BTW, it is good to see you around here again. The fish are biting, we need to go one afternoon.

That and football is one word, played with a ball that is pointed on both ends. The game played with a checkered round ball is not football, it is SOCCER. It was invented for kids that weren't big enough to play FOOTBALL.

The important thing in life is not an education but accumulated wealth. There are a bunch of broke asses with more degrees than a thermometer. That's kind of like pissing in a pair of black pants. Gives you a nice warm feeling, but nobody notices. I started a company in 1985, sold it in 2003 and could have hung up my cleats at the ripe old age of 47. No MBA or PhD. Just hard ass work and treating people the right way. Still, I think a college degree is going to be necessary for most people to be able to live above the poverty level in the future. There will be a few that get wea

Sooooooooooo did I see someone say Jimmy Carter wasn't a truck up?

You do know how percentages work don't you GD?

One of the most fun places I have been lately is Sweet Georgia Juke Joint. Good music, good food.

And all this time I thought Google did that.

No reason to be condescending. All I am saying is the chart doesn't accurately reflect actual salaries.
-
You do understand that discrepancies of 50% make the chart inaccurate, right?

Professional degree pays $86,580 a year? That's off by almost 50% for a starting salary. My wife is with a law firm that starts first year associates at $120K. Also, I have guys working for me that have no degree that make more than what this lists for a masters degree. Like I said, this isn't accurate.

I know. They are all three already working. If a kid is in high school or a lower grade, I think it is going to be imperative that they get at least a four year degree to compete in the job market. I know a lot of people that aren't working at a job that has anything to do with their degree, but some employers do like to see that degree. Is it absolute horse sheeze? Yep, because college doesn't teach common sense and there are a ton of educated idiots out there. But it is still (in my opinion) going to be necessary.

Our family has just added a doctor, a lawyer and a physicians assistant to the work force in the last 12 months. I don't think connections alone would have gotten them a job. At least I hope not.

I prefer C&S over Oceanaire and it is not a hassle to park. Never had a decent meal at any of the Ray's restaurants. If you just want to pay too much for a really good steak, try McKendricks. They do have an excellent steak and their Sea Bass is great too.
