I posted this question a few weeks ago. The best advice was to take them to the Animal Shelter or local vet's office. I talked with a lady at the library where bins used to be and she told me that the company that owned the bins had gone out of business. So after hauling the papers around in my car for days, I went over to the Animal Shelter only to find it closed! And my vet's office didn't need them. Well Shallow Hal...I can put your idea to rest! I found some tiny bugs in the drum of my dryer after washing & drying all my bed clothes. I took them to the County Extension Office this afternoon. The lady who helped me said that she thought they might be biting midges & would send them off to UGA for verification. So....I am hopeful that they will be able to tell me how to get rid of them. I've read some solutions on the Internet and will try those remedies in the meantime. Thanks to all those who shared ideas and/or helpful information. I will keep you posted!!!

Has she discovered the culprit?????? After I put the new mattress cover on, it seems the bites decreased but there are still some!! I'm so frustrated!!

Thank you all for the helpful advice. I bought a mattress cover today that is supposed to block bedbugs (even though I've seen no evidence of them; even took off light switch plates to see if they were hiding & NONE found), mites, and allergens. I'm hoping this will solve the problem. I am soooooooo tired of this!! Would it be safe to use on a bed mattress. And does it take care of No-seeums??

Seems every night for the past few weeks, once I go to bed, something bites me. I've done Internet research & found none of the indications of bed bugs listed on the various sites. The bites leave no welts and I've found no "little brown spots" on the sheets or any of the other things listed to look for and I have seen NO bugs. Any ideas what it might be and how to get rid of it? Today I stripped the bed down to the mattress, washed everything including the spread, vacuumed the mattress as well as I could & vacuumed the carpet in the bedroom. I am hoping for a restful, bite-free

Last week I visited a local Mexican restaurant for Cinco de Mayo. In checking my credit card statement on-line the next day, I discovered that I had been overcharged $25. I contacted the manager who was very cooperative about refunding the overcharge but was a bit concerned when I asked how the overcharge occurred.
