  1. and have never ever bought one before. I went to my bank and they told me I had to come in (which didn't make me very happy) and it would be $6.00. They didn't even ask how much it was for, that was just their standard fee. Where can you buy a cheaper money order?

  2. The waterfall place may be "Private Property"! Hubby and I went a few months ago and I just wanted to see the waterfall and a lady came out and said they take appointments to see the waterfall. We told her we just wanted to see it and then we'd leave. We were there for only about 5 minutes. Call ahead to be sure!

    It was beautiful though.

The waterfall at High Schoals is owned by the county, thanks to Jerry Shearin pushing to acquire it. Anyone is welcome to go anytime.

  3. We spay and neuter everything at 2 lbs./8 weeks. I think waiting until 6 months used to be the normal practice, but newer vets and more recent studies show the benefits of pediatric surgeries and they recooperate faster and the benefits far outweigh the risks. Such as male cats can certainly breed and even spray your entire home by the age of 9 months, so not only could your cat have reproduced and the smell ran you out of your home, but also his chances of several types of cancers have gone up. Same for females. Spayed and neutered animals are less likely to run away from home, not looking to mate and are overall more friendly pets, less aggressive, etc. And at the top of the list is how incredibly fast the little ones wake up from the anestesia and recooperate so much easier and faster than an adult that goes through the same thing. Also male dogs neutered as puppies don't become leg lefting markers, which is very hard to break and neutering doesn't always reverse this behavior.

Good luck on your decision and in my opinion, if that's your vet's way of practicing, I'd suggest finding a new vet.

  4. Animal has to work Saturday and now we're really in need of a Santa this Saturday from 11-5 at the Petsmart in Hiram. PLEASE let us know if you can help. Last Sunday TabbyCat and her son did it and they kicked butt and did well over a 100 photos!

  5. We went there tonight for the first time. I'm not a BBQ fan, but they have plenty to choose from. I had a Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Baked Potato, which were both terrific. The husband had the special, a 14 oz. Ribeye and it was great and the little one had a hot dog and fries.

There was no wait, the food was great, the prices were just right and the service was terrific. They were so nice there! I give it a big thumbs up and will be back! So for those of you that had a bad experience there in the past (previous establishment) give it a try -- I bet you'll be impressed!
