That's his point and you know we haven't turned our AC on yet so our house back at home is hot, not clean and has loud dogs and to be honest, all I can think is -- there's no place like home!

I was joking, yes the husband works for BB.
-
LOL! Why would you say that? I guess Circuit City had to move in to give Best Buy some competition!

Husband convinced me...it was free...and I'd never been and never heard just how fabulous it would be...

Babies, especially newborns, are definately not supposed to sleep through the night. When given breastmilk, as Mother Nature intended, their bodies absord most of it making their tummies empty sooner, in turn them waking up and needing to nurse. Bottlefed babies, or any babies fed the artificial stuff, their bodies absord less and therefeore need to eat less often, which makes people think/believe/hope babies will sleep through the night.

Awe - he's on vacation!

I think that's the part that baffles me, I'm not into relaxing!
-
And don't forget the Circuit City is coming soon too!

We did in the back yard since they can't get in the pool, until the snakes appeared! Wish you had a pix of that weiner!

We leave on trips at 2 a.m. and that way it's a kid free trip, they are passed out the whole way. My oldest (4) fell asleep on our street and we had to wake him up in the driveway here, it was awesome! The rain was hard on the way and woke the 2 year old, so we passed back a bag of Skittles and off to sleep he went again when they were all gone.

YES, I was pretty much bound, gagged and forced to come.

They loved the playground at the Pier last night after dinner, we had to drag them to the car. I'm too pregnant and their too little to skate. I'm working my best to convince the husband we should leave. We saw a 4 foot long snake this morning in the backyard and that helped since he hates snakes more than anything. You have to watch where you walk even to get to the car from the front door due to all the crabs, they are everywhere!

It's raining to top of the fabulous day!!! We were going back to the park, but now, no plans.

My kids on a boat, I want to bring them home, so I'll pass. Thanks though!

There is NO Wal-mart. What kind of a place has no Wal-Mart?

If you consider driving to the beach near it. I find it insane to not look at the back door and see the beach. I have 2 small kids so the movies and margaritas are out since I'm 6 months pregnant. I have never been so bored!
-
Anyone been there and found anything exciting to do? This is the most boring place in the world. I'm ready to come home and get back to real life! I don't think I've read so many p.com threads in one sitting.

I just can't imagine feeding a baby that young anything. Of course breast is certainly best and it's mine had until they were at least 8-9 months old. Good luck!

We live out in the country too and have more than our fair share of poop, which means flies too. I bought both the boys fly swatters, but the flies have them outnumbered by a landslide.

I've found over the years that most dogs will eat it if they have access to it. My best fix is the type of litterbox you use and we use this kind:

It's terrific and so worth it!

Trust me, you won't stand in line at all and they are closed on Mondays.

Bad accident on Highway 278 just east of Pumpkinvine Creek. Overturned vehicle in median. I won't mention what the vehicle is right now. Lifeflight on the way in for one of the victims.
We need to pray for these folks. We see a ton of accidents on this highway. The speed limit is too high @ 65. PCSD talking about closing both lanes of 278 for Life Flight.

It's of course sad that this happened, but 65 is NOT too fast on this stretch of road. Although speed may have been a cause, it sounds more like an "accident."

Yea, I know - I'm not normal, as I'm frequently reminded!
