  2. One more - prices always change - sometimes up and sometimes down. If you've not paid your final payment yet, ask your agent to check prices and see if they are lower. Even if you've already paid in full, ask for a credit. You'd be surprised. But, don't pay more! Prices seem higher than I would expect at this point for your sailing.
  3. I really doubt that this is a question of "living in fear". It's like being in downtown Atlanta at night - always be aware of your surroundings.
  4. No one looks after me better than I do myself. I would avoid getting anywhere near a Muslim looking woman with a backpack. Period.
  5. That lardass, Algore, will blame the flip on global warming climate change.
  6. Depends on what you want. Most of the major lines sail their newer and larger ships out of Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. For the shorter routes, they use older ships and sail out of smaller ports.
  7. My wife and I tried staying in Punta Cana for a week at an all inclusive resort. At the end of several days she said, "You know, I really prefer cruising to this."
  8. TP, you can have boobs surgically implanted. Don't cheat yourself from being whatever you want to be.
  9. OK, you'll be on the Fascination to the Bahamas: Ship You'll have a great time. My daughter booked us at a really fancy place on Amelia Island after we evacuated Fort Myers Beach in August of 2004 because of hurricane Charley.
  10. My parents owned a place in Mesa. I'd visit them during the winter and it was always warm in the winter. Great place to consider.
  11. You've gotten some good advice. To get more out of your cruise, go to Cruise Critic and join here: Cruise Critic Message Boards You'll be able to "chat" with fellow passengers on your ship. You can discuss cabin locations, where to eat and what to eat while on board, what tours to take, organize private tours (and usually get a better tour for less money than the ship will charge). What ship will you be on? I'm a fan of Royal Caribbean, Norwegian and Celebrity and have been on many cruises over the years. I hope you enjoy your cruise. Here is a link to cruisecritic and the Car
  12. The drivers will likely be outdated. It would be wise to go to the manufacturers' sites and download and install the latest drivers.
  13. There's a good reason for that^^^.
  14. LOL!! Arizona - I love Sedona and you have Phoenix and heat in the winter in the valley below. I have to wonder about South Dakota though.
  15. Too cold for strippers most of the year (except for the one weekend they call "summer"). Not enough sunny days to get a tan. Retiring to South Dakota? Wrong direction.
  16. Fargo is north; you're right. But,both Dakotas are cold. Damn cold.
  17. Good suggestion. Yes, the Black Hills are beautiful. - IN THE SUMMER. Once again, let me remind you that winter is long, very cold, very windy. A hard winter up there is one you barely survive. It is not unusual to turn on the weather in the morning in January and hear the announcer say, "Good morning, Fargo. It is 40 degrees below zero out there so dress warmly." Is he kiddin'? Nope.
  18. Buy a POS to drive in the winter. After a couple of winters, the vehicles up there rust like crazy. I drove a 20 year old 4-wheel drive Jeep in Minnesota.
  19. I've not lived there but I spent 13 years in Winnipeg (north) and 2 years in Rochester, MN (east). I hope you like winters that last 6-7 months and lots of windy, blizzardy days because that i what you're going to get. I prefer the southeast to winter hell. The joke about up there is they call it "God's country". But, God migrates south for the winter and summer occurs on one weekend only. And, you have never seen such large and hungry mosquitoes. Good luck.
  20. I am with you on Roy and Kasim Reed is useless. Whether Deal is one of the overall best is debatable but, he is ranked #7 in job creation which is great. Since jobs are a non-starter in the useless Obama administration, it is good to know that our local government is focused on jobs.
  21. So other than bitch and whine, what is TP going to do about the "exploitation"? How will he identify the exploiting individuals and what will he do to motivate them to change? How will they change? Or, is all of TP's whining a result of his dislike for large multinational corporations? I think his chart illustrates his envy of those who are successful. Makes me want some BACON!
