We own a hybrid (Ford, I won't buy an Asian car ever). My wife uses it locally and we also use it for longer trips. We like it because it has both electric as well as gas so it's range is not limited by the electric motor. However, I like the sound of the exhaust generated by a gasoline engine. The almost silent whine of an electric car is nowhere near as thrilling. Pass the keys to the demon. What a thrill.
