Good point. This is all due to the hot air dissipated by that blowhard, Algore.

Can anyone understand anything he posts? The grammar and spelling are so bad that few can understand his ramblings.

That's why my wife said "We're moving further south" two years ago. It's only 39 here now and it will go to only 61. So, she is not a happy camper.

In respect to recent events-Parenting question

My neighbors sent their son to rehab in Ft. Lauderdale, a long way from his "friends" in Tampa. It didn't work and he is as bad as ever. -
It's been on here for about a week. Lovely Christmas music. We have Verizon FiOS.

I was confused about his/her use of "de jure" and the context. I figured he/she was trying to impress us with his/her use of legal terminology. The Kos? Make something up? Surely you cannot be serious!!?

I have no problem with peaceful protest. I do have a problem with instigators like Al Sharpton. What is "de jure"?
-
A permanent affliction, in TP's case.

Improved your post for better accuracy.

.....from the wonderful president, Jimma Carter.

I'm wishing for the end of Obamanation for Christmas.

Most Democrats suck big time.

We do not have a president. The office has been occupied by an incompetent ideologue since January 30, 2009.
-
And left wing morons like Sharpton and Mayor De Blasio have successfully stirred the flames and have endorsed the lawlessness.
-
Consider the source - Daily Kos? What a joke. It's a left wing propaganda site.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of our troops, esp. my son. I'd like to include all Law Enforcement officers in my wishes as well. They have jobs that are often thankless and, these days, they are subject to unjustified scrutiny and criticism (frequently by four members of this forum).

Al Sharpton is a race baiting pig.

The cost of flood insurance depends upon your flood risk (per Floodsmart.gov). Another factor is the age of your house. We live in a one year old, 2200 sq. ft. house about 1/4 mile from Tampa Bay. We are classified as "AE" for flood risk. I pay 900 per year for flood insurance. This covers my house and my garage (two separate buildings; therefore, two separate policies). As you get higher in risk, your premiums go up. All you have to do is enter your address at: https://www.floodsmart.gov/floodsmart/

My father-in-law, when asked, "What has made your marriage last?" He replied, "The woman is always right." They were married for over 60 years.

I had a power ventilator in my house in Powder Springs and I replaced the electric motor at least twice, if not three times, over a period of 10 years.

UN-frickin-believable.

Thank you. We should never, ever forget.

Yes, the Jags of the 60s were notorious for having problems with the Lucas electrical system. We used to joke that the reason 40 year old XKEs were in such good condition was because they had spent 35 of those years in the shop. Here is a picture that is close to your dream: The one I am dreaming about is:- 34 replies
