I worked for publix in Fla. (24 years ago when publix wasn't in ga yet). I really see differences between then anr now, but still looke like a geat place to wo err k. I took grandkids to noahs ark in locust grove (exit212. On75) its an animal rescue so they request donations instead of a set admission so you give what you can. It was a lit if fun!

The ever popular Buffalo Chicken Dip is always a hit at my house.(just google for the recipe) I just made some spinach Balls that turned out really good and easy to make. 2 10oz packs of spinach chopped 1 16 oz box chicken flavored stove top stuffing 1 cup grated parm. cheese 6 eggs beaten 3/4 cup melted butter salt/pepper to taste cook spinach as directed, then squeeze all the moisture out. combine all in a large bowl. make small balls and freeze on cookie sheet, when frozen transfer to ziplock bag. bake 350 10-15 mins if baked fresh bake 7-10 mins.

I heard that one of the Hardy neighbors had a heart attack, and the ambulance could not get to them in time.. that is why I heard they stopped. Don't know if that is true or not.

sadly, My neighborhood of 33 houses does not have trick or treatrs in the 8 years I lived here. My grand kids moved bad from texas moved in a house that is not in a neighborhood. We tried the mall one time, just was not fun. so we went to the next neighborhood beside mine.The boys were instructed to take just one piece of candy . The five year old told everyone thankyou and happy Halloween with out even being instructed to. We had a great time, Thankyou next neighborhood for allowing us to enjoy Halloween with you.

My husband had 2 cousins on that flight. One died that day, the other jumped out of the plane as it slid down the road at a high rate of speed. He had to have many surgeries because of it. His tale was in the readers digest about that day. Richard has since passed away about 4 years ago, possibly from complications of him inhaling jet fuel that day.

My run keeper says it is close to 1 1/4 mile around the track.The hills arent too back if you follow the cardio stations, but if you want a better work out, go the opposite way. the hills are a little steeper. Mud creek on the East west connector is fairly flat.

I have never been asked by an employee if I was gay or not. When I go into a c.f.a all the employees at least act happy to be working and serving me. They Know what customer service means.Maybe it is the Christian beliefs showing thru or just good business, but I have NEVER seen any customer be treating in a disrespectful way ever. It doesn't matter what city its in. I know for a fact that a young man worked at the Hiram store and he is gay, the only reason he is not working there now is he went on to better his career in a different field and moved out of town. community service is done from a list of places, You don't get paid for. Usually things that aren't that pleasant to do. example cleaning bathroom's at paulding meadows festival.. Picking up trash, or I think even cleaning up the Animal shelter pens... Things like that.. But the courts have a group of places they have to pick from.

The Child made a stupid choice, He is paying for that choice.Already been punished once, does not need to go on being punished for life. Working at the pool has nothing to do with the painting of the school. sure he is not going to paint the neighborhood. Maybe the lesson he can teach, is you are better than the stupid a$$ choices you make, learn from it move on and strive to be a better person than the day you made that choice. Give the guy a chance to better his life! And if working at the pool can help him, than help him. Encourage him to be a better person, don't define him by his mistake

I agree they weren't thinking of what the charges were, and that they might get caught. I know this year went too far, but the school area has been spray painted Many years before this one.Again I know they painted more than just the road... I think that show on t.v about school pranks is encouraging kids to do more than what we used too.

Publix does Not have pink slime in their meat.
