im talking to my friend, but we need some entertainment like seriously bad!!! can pcom help?

i have a 1995 blazer with the 4.3 vortec..... i love this thing. the body and interior are in almost pristine condition, it has enough power for what i use it for, its comfortable, and we have had no internal engine problems with it, the 4.3 i think is a much better engine that the ones they put in the trailblazers, all the new stuff is just so breakable. but i really like having an SUV anyway, i just fel safer, i never felt safe in a compact car. im sure with you helping her she wont end up with a piece of junk, good luck in your search!

i thought i would have to repurchase it, i figured my windows XP resembled something dipped in battery acid and was unuseable. but im glad you told me lol. i will have to do some hard thinkin on all this. or sleepin... whichever comes first.

yeah, i looked into the windows program, i could get a whole new computer for what that will cost. she will be moving out in a few weeks so i shouldnt have any new issues after that. it pretty much runs smoothly except for the pop ups that get through the blocker and the redirects, and inability to access anything that will help me clean up the problems. i dont do the facebook and myspace stuff, generally its pcom, yahoo, and google searching and some ebay. today just sucks. this thread is pretty much how its been for me all day. problems and bad news. i think i should go sit in a corner and f

i know that "c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts" is something i would use in the RUN window and "127.0.0.1 localhost" seems to be an ip address? but i have no idea if they are supposed to do something. im fairly computer literate, but this is just beyond me..... i should stick to cars..... if its broke replace it lol!

i have not installed anything, every update screws up my computer all over again. hp updates, java updates, everything. i have had problems with my computer for the last 2 yrs..... coincidentally they started when my sister moved in and god knows she clickes on every glittery thing that crosses the screen. she may be paying for computer repairs soon. i cant even do a google search, when i click on links that i have found through searces im redirected to something stupid EVERY time. im amazed i can still use this thing.

yeah when i try to click the page is says can not display web page, i disabled my google thing that caused the broken link message. i will see if i can find a way around it.

well..... it is downloaded and it does nothing. literally. i double clicked the icon..... nothing. right click open..... nothing. its a dud. i downloaded a dud.

i got a "this link appears to be broken" google page.... i get those a lot too.....

i thought pcom was safe.......... but it finally happened. i get either a google search or yellow pages search pop-up, sometimes when i click on the recent topics button and sometimes when i click on a thread. it just started about a week ago but dang..... its annoying!!!!!!!! is it just me??????

we went to home depot to replace a pane after a golf ball was SHOT through it, it was less than $20 for the glass cut and all the other stuff we needed.

$3000? for a rebuilt engine? thats kind of high, call some aftermarket parts stores and get a price from them, they have good warranties and if you or your husband are mechanically inclined you could install it yourself and save a lot of money, the salvage price sounds pretty standard, but ask about warranties since they are not rebuilt.
