So my "day" started Sunday morning, rain, wife suggests skipping Church, so we sleep in...Phone rings about 12:30, Its my work wanting to know if I want to go out of town to help change an engine on one of our planes...IN BUFFALO, NEW YORK!!! I check the weather, and its 28 degrees up there, with a 14 degree wind chill!!! I can't pass up the opportunity to make some overtime, so I tell them I;ll be there for the 3:30 departure to Buffalo, with 5 other mechanics. The famous (or infamous) Two Wheels Only motorcycle resort, located in Suches, Georgia, will close their doors in March of 2011...This has been a long time retreat for me to escape life for awhile in the North Georgia mountains, just me and my bike...We have alot of precious memories from there over the years, and are heartbroken that they are forced to close due to some kind of "inheritance" deal....google two motorcycle resort for more info...

Good for you....I have smoked for nearly 40 years, and cannot put them down. I convince myself that I can stop anytime, and I do, but then I feel fine and convince myself that Im not doing any damage to my body, and that I can quit anytime...Im beyond help...

Perhaps SOME of the money that the PCSD is generating from outrageous ticket fines ($143 for failure to stop at a stop sign) could go to repairs, but I have a sneaky feeling it wont.

If I had it my way, we (my family) would'nt have cell phones. $160 per month, and my wife NEVER answers hers...I could be in an accident, and she would'nt know anything about it till the next day!

I had the rear end of my '97 Astrovan strip out, went to pull a part south and bought/removed one for $65, installed it, and have had no problems since. If you want to keep the truck, this is the best route...I can do it for you if you want, but no guarantees on the quality of the one you get from pull a part, just a chance you have to take, it worked out well for me... PM me if your interested in me doing it for you...Im in Hiram...

Oh that's easy...it's the one you take care of, change the oil with the "high dollar" fully synthetic (Mobil 1) motor oil religiously, and don't mistreat! We had a Datsun B210 Wagon that ran forever, but I took good care of it, so no matter what type, brand, or manufacturer of car you get, or have, it's only as good as it's taken care of....
