  1. Yesterday someone suggested I download the Microsoft Service Pack 3 and it might correct my problem of not being able to reply or start topics on my home computer.

I don't know what I did/ but my computer froze up and now I have no internet connection. I have my C drive but that's it. Mike was going to help me tonight but I might need to talk to Comcast first?

    I wish I was techy!

  2. I had this exact same problem up to about two weeks ago. Every time I tried to post something or add a reply, my computer would shut itself down. I couldn't figure out what the problem was and then my husband got an ipod and we tried downloading itunes and it would not download b/c I was missing an important udate from Microsoft. So I had to download the Service Pack 3 for itunes to work and then when I came onto Paulding.com, I was able to start replying and adding posts. Don't know if it is the same problem you are having, but it can't hurt to try.

Thank you! I will try that tonight and maybe I won't have to bother Mike.

  3. Last week you said I could call for some help with the problems I am having with this site. I can't post or reply from home computer. I could not call that evening (a family emergency has kept me very busy). May I still call you? Would tonight be ok? I still have your number but didn't want to call without asking again.

BTW - I did check that I am logged in at home; tried to change some internet options but sill no luck.

    Thank you.

  4. My wife is off work on Fridays, so she likes her wine on Thursday nights. I have to be at work at 7am on Fridays. I go to bed at 10pm; she comes to bed at 2am. By the time she makes it to bed, she is feeling no pain from the wine and, without fail, makes so much noise it wakes me up and once I'm up, I'm up. We argue for a minute, she goes right to sleep and I stare at the ceiling until I finally get up around 4:30 or 5am. We have talked about this repeatedly and she always says she won't do it again. This lasts for about 2-3 weeks and here it goes- all over again. What do I do? I am so tired right now. I almost fell asleep driving to work this morning.

Would she consider changing the night to Friday nights??? :p

  5. I adopted an older dog several years ago and she had heartworm; and she was already about 10 or 11 years old. It was not at all difficult to treat her and she lived to be about 14 1/2 when I had to have her put down due to liver cancer. I had already decided that if she was going to suffer; I'd put her to sleep. But it went very well and I don't recall that it was very expensive.

Good luck - don't worry - talk to your vet!
