well I have been a police officer for 23 years and in my years in law enforcement. just about everytime.. the car break ins occur with vehicles that are left unlocked. most of the time they will not break the window cause that would make noise. when I worked in powder springs we had like 25 cars in one subdivision broke into and they skipped over the ones that were locked. also have your driveway lit up..crooks do not like lights. also invest in some good video cameras and hook them up to record. if its on video..the police can show it on the news..and catch the crooks. criminals have all the
