How do you the page and ink color? I think I'd like to do that. I also hate that I have to charge it every day. Also the charger cord is too short. I can read my other Kindle much easier while charging as it has a longer cord. I still love my Kindle Fire. I made a big mistake and let my 5 year old granddaughter play a game on it...now she fights with me all the time wanting to play. She told me yesterday that all her toys,Leapter, movies, wii and anything else was boring!! Can you believe that ...4 days after Christmas!!!

I got the same color you did. My other Kindle has a red cover so I didn't want pink. I don't really like black or charcoal either as they are so dull. You know, I just ordered mine yesterday and it got here today. I'm so glad it got here quickly because my 5 year old granddaughter loves playing with my Fire! I haven't smelled it yet

Just go my cover from Amazon.com. I think I'm really going to like it. Just finished putting it one my Fire! Wasn't hard at all.

Well I ordered the same cover as RhondaW. It was pretty cheap as I had a gift card and also the free 2 day shipping with Prime! So, next question: How do y'all clean your screens?

Thanks Rhonda. I've been looking at the same one. Haven't decided on the color yet. I've had the Kindle with the keyboard for a year and never use the cover unless I'm taking it somewhere. The Fire is a whole different story. It's more like a computer screen and does need a cover all the time. Guess I'm off to Amazon to order one.

My daughter found it in the Amazon app store and it was free.Its called TextPlus. My Fire is very touch senistive I'm really happy with it!

I got one for Christmas and so far it's perfect for me! I can read my books, play games, get on here and fb. I also found a free app where I can text from it. Who else got a Fire and how do you like it. Yes, I know it's not an iPad but for the money and how I am going to use it I'm a happy girl!

Yes, that's where we kept our horse. Back then if you were a member of the faculty you could keep your horse there at no charge. Just had to been on feeding rotation. We'd drive up to the stables, get the feed put in the stalls, open the gates and then honk the horn. Then we'd get out of the way cause here they all came flying! lol I loved that stable and all the land. What a great place! It was just beautiful! Gee, I got stuck with Glen Campbell and you got Jimmy Buffett!

It was back when Glen Campbell name was getting famous and Bobbie Gentry was singing about throwing something off the bridge. lol That was my first concert at Southern Miss. Got to meet both Bobbie and Glen. I was 11 years old and I'm a grandma now. I'm in my 50's.

My father use to teach Literature at University of Southern Miss. Their mascot was a big paint horse named Son of Dixie. We kept our horse at at the stables with him. We'd ride him sometimes. Great horse! He did a rocking horse canter.

So every one of the book I looked up had holds on them! I did end up putting one hold on so we will see.

I went to the Rockmart Library today. All I had to do was update my library card info and have them change my home library to Rockmart Library. If you owe any fees or fines then you have to pay them before they will do this. Since I had my library card and there was nothing owed on it they just updated the info in the computer and I was ready to go....now on the figuring out the Georgia Download Destination. The Rockmart Library employees where very nice but not very knowledge about this.

Had take out from there yesterday for lunch. Chicken finger and onion ring snack meal. Very good. Lots of food. Very nice people!

I also love my Garmin Nuvi and bought the lifetime map updates. It's never let me down!

I was coming home from Hiram about 15 minutes ago on Hwy. 92 and turned onto Nebo Rd. There were at least 3 law enforcement cars blocking both lanes of Nebo Rd. Anyone know what this time. Nebo is not a good road to travel tonight!

Just got a Nixle text that said to avoid Nebo Rd. for the next couple of hours due to traffic incident. Both lanes closed.......Does anyone know what part of Nebo this is on??? Nebo is a really long road. Thanks!
