My youngest grandson had one and my granddaughter has one. Daniel loved his. He always wanted to be sitting up. He hated laying down when he was awake. Paris loves hers, too. She sits in it while her mom gets ready for school and other times when mom is busy doing stuff. She doesn't like to lay down either. It's a really handy little invention, but all babies are different.

I voted yes but, now that I've read further and realize you have never met this boy, I have changed my opinion. My way in the world would I let her go!!!! He can hardly be considered a boyfriend if he lives in Tennessee and they've never really dated. She needs to find a nice boy here and things will be a lot easier.

I started my youngest daughter on cereal when she was three weeks old so she'd sleep through the night. I know that's early but I had to go right back to work after she was born and I had to get some sleep!! It didn't hurt her at all!!
My granddaughter will be 5 months old on the 7th. She's been eating baby food since she was 3 months old. My daughter started her out with cereal in an infant feeder. She then progressed to fruit, then vegetables. And, believe it or not, the baby loves the meats. Neither one of mine would eat them!! The pediatrician knows all about the baby's eating habits and told my daughter just to make sure that she waits a few days in between foods to make sure the baby isn't allergic to anything.
Feeding a baby solid foods is not going to hurt them!! How would you like to have just a liquid diet? I say - Feed the Baby!!!

The killer was in that household....good chance she died a couple years ago.
I have to agree with you on this one!! I've always felt this was the case.

Some people just like being tattle tales.
If you witness something that could impact another person's safety...get involved. Other than that, I'd pretty much keep my nose out of it.
Well put!!! I try to keep out of other people's business. If I see something that I think could be a real problem to someone else, I'll call. I did call one night when there was this strange man lurking around our neighborhood. I never did see the police ride down our street, even though I stayed up for over an hour after I made the call. Also, I listened to the archieves and it was never dispatched over the scanner.
What other people do it their business, unless it creates a safety issue for someone else.

This morning, Karen Minton said flurries only, if anything. Dang!! I was hoping for a LOT of snow!!!

I just heard this on the radio traffic report. Prayes for the officer. Glad they caught the scumbag who took off.

Congratulations on your new grandchild!!! I have a 3 1/2 year old grandson, a 20 month old grandson, and a 4 month old granddaughter. When Adrian was born, it all came back to me. It had been 20 years since I'd cared for a baby and was slightly nervous. No need to worry! Not much has changed. I do for my three just like I did my own kids. I spoil them a little more than I did my kids, but that's what us grandparents do!!! They do sleep on their backs now, but they all had/have blankets, bumper pads, etc. I never went by exactly what the doctor said. I just followed my instincts and did what I though was best. My daughters both value my advice and there's never any problems with me voicing my opinion. They are both wonderful mothers--probably better than I was because they both are stay-at-home moms.
Just enjoy every minute with that new grandbaby. They grow up way too fast!!!

I hate to hear that because I do a lot of mail ordering for my scrapbooking, and I never know what day my supplies will be delivered. If they do cut a day, I hope it's Saturday because that's the day when the lazy little sub usually works my neighborhood. At least, I'd know my packages were going to be left for me during the week and I wouldn't have to take time off work to go to the post office to pick something up.

What an idiot!!! I cannot comprehend how anyone can kill their children--or any child for that matter.

That was absolutely precious!!! Cats can be so smart!!!

I didn't see the Allen Jackson from Newnan. They hyped him up on the radio yesterday and then it appears he wasn't even on. Wonder what happened?

My husband does home improvement work. He and another guy are in business together. Work has been VERY slack!! In fact, he's been doing some work with another guy he knows. We've talked about him trying to find a job with some benefits because my insurance got cut at work so we only have catastrophic coverage. We're SOL if we get sick and need just basic treatment.
It's really tough right now. I pray for everyone that has lost a job or had hours/benefits, etc. cut.

My husband is very seldom gone at night but, when he is, I enjoy the quiet time alone. I'm not scared at all. We live in a nice quiet neighborhood and I feel safe.

I spent 4 day in Vegas last week and it looked like things were going pretty good!! The casinos were pretty empty during the day but had plenty of customers at night. Looked like lots of people spending lots of money!! And the shows!!! There are so many, and they are so expensive! The two we saw were sold out!! Of course, I'd never been there before so I didn't have another experience to compare it to.
I did have a pretty good time and would love to go back with my husband. This was a girls trip and I just don't have as much fun as I would with my husband.
What kind of second wedding ceremony would you choose?

I had just turned 18 for my first wedding and was 3 months pregnant, so I didn't get the pretty wedding I'd always dreamed of. Ten years later, my second wedding was everything I had ever dreamed about with the beautiful dress, the attendants, the reception, etc. I even honeymooned in Jamaica. I have beautiful pictures but, unfortunately, it didn't last. I married the 3rd time in a beautiful chapel in Gatlinburg. It was very small with two of our closest friends in attendance. We've had some rough patches but, by far, it's a whole lot better than the first two.
