Thank You all for your cares and concerns, we were ok but, glad to know that it's fixed and just in time for the cooler (a little bit, anyway) weather to roll in tomorrow. Thanks Again!!

I'd hope that the Hospital would be covering the bill for the new denture plates. Dr's Shirley & Bickford are excellent!!!

Yes, we are getting there. THANK YOU!!! We think it's the thermostat. I hope the diagnosis is correct. The unit is 13 yrs old so, we will see. It's not that cold and if I do get cold, my electric blanket is on the sofa, within arms reach!!

That's great!! I hope you get some relief, let us know if it helps you.

We've been using Atlanta's First Choice Carpet Cleaning they used to be a business member, not sure if they still are or not. They are very good people, been a customer for quite a while, maybe about 8 yrs???? They're reasonably priced and do good work.

My children won't get one either!!

Insurance Co's get on my last nerve!!! Dr's offices and CVS Caremark, too!! I can ONLY use CVS, Walmart, Sam's or The Apothecary Store across from Tanner hosp for my Pharmacies. Isn't that some CRAP!!!

It's 54 right now but, I'm cold natured and stay cold. Since I've been on blood thinners, it's gotten worse. We will check it out, Thank You!!!
-
Thank the Lord it's NOT real cold!!! We do have 2 electric blankets and we will stay warm but, it's going to be a L-O-N-G afternoon and night!!! We are NOT mechanically inclined, so we'll have to tuff it out. We "should" have gotten some wood before now, though.

You can get a Pneumonia shot without any age restrictions. I've been getting them for about 20 yrs now, once every 5 yrs. This is how we found out tht my Mother had Lung Cancer. She had Pneumonia (or so the Dr thought) for 3 yrs in a row. I've also had Pleurisy a couple of times and you talk about something that really hurts, THAT HURTS!!!!

I'd ask about the billing of the Tens Unit. My Ins Co. (BCBS) just rented mine. I didn't know this until like 4 months later and I had to pay something like $200 The person from the Medical Supply place just met me at a designated location. He didn't explain that it was just a "rental" unit. Actually, he didn't mention anything about any kind of fees/rates or charges, that was why I thought it was totally paid for by the Insurance Co. It would have ben just as cheap to purchase one, as it would have been to rent one. It never hurts to make sure, who is paying for what!!
-
I've already talked to the Insurance Co and they won't budge. I explained to them that I've had it 3 times and they said "NO", plain and simple!! I'll be getting it at my Dr's office, not a Pharmacy. My PCP is the cheapest at $210.

My arm is still hurting and I got the shot up high on my arm. Maybe it's just sore from being in the muscle. With this Nurse, she gives me my allergy shots kinda sorta in the back of my arm in the fatty part and most of the time it hurts like the dickens. The "other" nurse (who left over a year ago) gave me my shots more in the side & center. Which I NEVER felt. My Insurance won't pay for the Shingles Shot. Not until I turn 60. Even though I've had the Shingles 3 times. Each time it was in the months of Sept/Oct in the years 2010, 2012 and 2014. I 'll pay for a shingles shot befor

Ryan Hale at Edward Jones Investments is EXCELLENT, if this is the type of person you're looking for. We've been using his firm for about 10 yrs, now.

I got a Flu Shot last Wednesday and my arm is really hurting, in the area where the Nurse gave me the shot. This is a pain that's deep in the arm, not topical. Has anyone else experienced any pain or discomfort, with their flu Shot? I got the shot at the same time that I got my Xolair Allergy Shots.

I've had one before and it worked so-so. When I had to give it a rest (I was allergic to the adhesive on the pads) I could tell the difference. It didn't totally get rid of the pain but, it did help. Just make sure you do NOT forget to turn the unit off before removing the pads!!!! My Dr. Didn't turn it off all the way, then he proceeded to take the pads off......O-M-G, I let out a squeal that you could hear across the entire office!!!! It felt like he was ripping Every nerve out of my body. Hope you feel better soon!!!

I've had two of them and it turned out that I only have a fatty liver, Thank the Lord!! But, every now and then, it still hurts and no one (any Dr.) can explain it. It was just slightly uncomfortable and that was about it. If I'm not mistaken you will be out like a light!! Prayers for good results!!
-
Good Luck,, I hope it helps you!! Prayers for a quick recovery. I'll be having neck surgery in a couple of months and I'm really hating it!! I've been putting it off since January this year. Can't wait too much longer.

u-verse down ,was told it is a state wide problem
Mrs G replied to ridge rd retiree's topic in Paulding County NEWS
My daughter that lives off of Sweetwater Church Rd said that her Uverse was not interrupted at all. Makes you wonder about AT & T, I do NOT like them one bit but, we may have to reconsider our service with them. -
I thought you were going to say...................when someone in the family starts hinting around, that they need money to buy their childrens Christmas presents. We don't "need" anything!! So, that's what I'm telling my Family.
