They were working on the road yesterday and this morning all the "road closed" signs are gone. Thank God !

Well, I went out for couple hours & when I came back , the sign was back up & in same place. ??? there is going to be a head on if people don't stop & look before they fly around it, cause you cannot see on coming traffic from either side.

NO, not offically. I talked to the DOT Fri (to tell them abt the sign) and they said there is still a little work to be done & hope to open May 3rd.

Ok, it finally happened. Someone either got mad & kicked the heck outa of the sign or ran into it speeding around the sign . I was not home when that happened, but it is broken. I warned the DOT that it was going to happen, from what I've been seeing.

For really moist chicken, go to walmart, etc & in the grill section find a form that will hold a whole chicken, it's a round metal piece. Drunken chicken take a whole chicken & wash well get pkg of stuff from the inside out & throw away or do whatever. I rub the chicken w/greek seasoning take a can of beer (or coke or juice, etc) & place it in the bottom ring of holder place chicken's butt down over the can of beer. stuff the neck whole w/a peeled potatoe or an onion on gas grill, set an aluminum pan on one side of grill add a lit

The DOT is hoping to re-open Waters rd May 3rd if it goes as schedual. It IS NOT officially open & signs are [still up.

we saw our 1st one afew weeks ago , but only that one day. then two days ago saw it again, then it's gone again. are we doing something wrong, that they don't stay?

you're welcome. The signs are still up, blocking half the raod. SOME people are flying down thru there tho , there is a speed limit. They think it's a curvy race track & to go that fast & around 3 large signs.!!!!! everyone just watch out.

We saw our 1st humming bird last week , but only that one day & haven't seen him since.

They just got thru painting the yellow lines & taking break for luch looks like. with this good weather , hopefully they will get done this week.

Ok, Waters rd is NOT offically open. But,everyone has been going thru anyway at their own risk since it has been paved somewhat. which didn't bother me. BUT, TODAY (Mon, April 5th) & likely all week this week they will be working on the road again & it is blocked by equipment & workers & is NOT passable. So please give them this time to finish up & don't waist your time driving down just to have to back up. I will so be glad when this is done.

Well, i am on water's Rd which is between Nebo & Ridge. they have been (& stll are) working on repairing the flood damaged Rd. Those big dump trucks & all the huge equipment that goes by are very loud & shake my house somtimes . since they have been doing this for weeks , that's probably what you're hearing. They are not done working yet.

We saw it coming up over the trees, at 1st thought it was a fire, till it got higher & was so round .

well, That's why they have blocked off the Rd w/equipment because they know _ _ people will come thru anyways undoing the work they have already done. Please let them just get finished & done. Hopefully soon. I will let ya'll know the progress. P.S. I didn't mind either back when it was really a dirt road. before all the traffic & houses built up that rd.

still closed, still blocked off. they have not started paving yet, but if the rain will hold off, maybe soon. & got to put the rails back or someone will end up in the lake , as it has happened, before they ever put rails up. People flying around that curve.
