    I only joined Pcom a little over a year ago but since then I have noticed how much this community cares about the people. We are fortunate to have a site where the community can come together, whether it be news, business, announcements, blogging or just to say hello. I look forward to get to know many of you. :good:

    And how about the restaurant Dirty Dicks Crab House in PCB? I always thought that was kinda cute. I want one of their T-shirts that says "I got my crabs from Dirty Dicks!" ;)

     

    Or how about this one: A chinese restaurant called "Wok this way". :D

    Well that's just horrible that this happened to her. Who would think something like that would ever happen in Paulding Co. Thank goodness her children were fine and that she isn't severely hurt. Prayers for her and her family.

    I don't agree with that logic either. In reading the article, the two men mentioned are opposed to the homosexual lifestyle. They basically say that since it's not a genetic factor, that they can be 'cured' of this lifestyle. How degrading. I think people should just leave them alone and let them live their lives how they want to.

    I say why not.... Let the drinkers pay for my health care.... I like the idea... I don't drink beer really so why not. Sounds like the Smoker tax for the same reason... So why not..

    WASHINGTON (AP) — Consumers in the United States may have to hand over nearly $2 more for a case of beer to help provide health insurance for all. Details of the proposed beer tax are described in a Senate Finance Committee document that will be used to brief lawmakers Wednesday at a closed-door meeting.

     

    Taxes on wine and hard liquor would also go up. And there might be a new tax on soda and other sugary drinks blamed for contributing to obesity. No taxes on diet drinks, however.

     

    Beer taxes would go up by 48 cents a six-pack, wine taxes would rise by 49 cents per bottle, and the tax on hard liquor would increase by 40 cents per fifth. Proceeds from the new taxes would help cover an estimated 50 million uninsured Americans.

     

    Uh, hello. Don't people know what's in most diet drinks? Artificial sweetners, otherwise known as Aspartame, which can cause a lot of medical problems as well. The FDA just isn't willing to admit it. I don't know where these people come up with such stupid ideas. They already tax us out the butt as it is!

    Oh Nina, I love your bugs and butterfly!! I've not camped at Cloudland Canyon but know lots of folks who have and they really enjoyed it.

     

     

    Thank you very much Naturegirl. You know what, now that I think about it, I have camped at that one :rolleyes:, I must be losing my mind. Yes it's beautiful and their camp sites are pretty secluded. Great way to camp.
