As an Independent, I would like to see both, or neither - but the media should get off of the issue and get onto the real issues of Jobs, Unemployment, Jobs, Government Debt, and Jobs.
I agree 150%!!!!
The candidates should focus on those issues as well! Instead of bashing each other back an forth, it's really getting old.

I remember when I went to McEachern, they had rivals between Harrison, more sports related. The two schools were banned from playing together in any sports games for four years.

Yup. Just like they all do. Why is there no outrage over every other celeb that the late night talk show host make jokes about? I saw no one come to Parris Hiltons side, what about Miley Cirus? The Detroit Lions? Bush? Obama? It is part of being in the lime light. There is an easy way to avoid it if you don't like it. You put yourself out there you know this is going to happen - there is a price for fame, no matter who your mommy is.
Totally agree. If your gonna put yourself in the lim light, you need to expect all that comes with it, including all the jokes that are going to be made. I don't think the joke was funny in anyway and I can understand why Palin would be mad, but it's something that goes with the terrirtory. I think it was a little excessive of her to go on and on and on about it when it was just a joke! I think her intent was to get an apology from Letterman and let him know that she wasn't happy with his comments, but the perception is that she has blown it out of porportion just to get the publicity.

When my husband and I first saw this cockatoo in the pet store we were so drawn to him and he just stuck to us so at first we called him Elmer (like Elmer's glue), but then someone in the pet store said it was a girl and so we changed it to Ellie. But then after we finally got him the vet told us he in fact was a boy so then we changed it to Elliott.
Riley Joe - (lab/springer spaniel mix) came from my Aunt's dog and my cousin had given her the name Riley. My sister would always give her the name Josephine when she called her so we shortened it to Joe. Now her name is Riley Joe but we just call her Riley.
