  1. Guess I would get annoyed at several messages, but on the positive side Paulding County is finally getting a full service hospital to serve the community.

I've heard it doesn't have maternity services. Call me crazy but I consider a full service hospital one that includes maternity as well. Guess us ladies will still have to trek on over to Kennestone or the others to push one out.

Can someone else confirm this? Or did I hear wrong?

  2. Some like it hot

    Bringing up Baby

    It's a Wonderful Life

    To Kill a Mockingbird

A Little Princess (or really any Shirley Temple movie)

My favorite representation of the great train robbery that Pubby mentions is the silent movie The General. Buster Keaton is so amusing!

There are actually some more recent ones that some people may not think about when referring to old b&w movies. Schindler's List was in black and white as well as Young Frankenstein, which is one of my favorites.

  3. It is good, I get one when I get a pizza there.

But I would really love to have a great salad place, a build your own.....and NOT Ruby Tuesday. Their salad bar is nothing like it was 10 years ago.

Anybody remember Steak and Ale in Smyrna? Now THAT was a salad bar with wonderful fresh baked bread!

We so need a Sweet Tomato over here!!! That is one of the best soup and salad (build your own) restaurants I've been to. Too bad the closest one is on Barrett Pkwy by Carmax.

  4. Contact Warehouse of Hope in Douglasville. Good people there.

And this^^ attitude is why leaving the needy to rely on the charity of others will not work in this country. Who wants to have to substantiate or verify that they are at a low point in their life and struggling in addition to the mental stress they already endure in return for a dollar or two from someone who has it to spare?

    You mean like Welfare?

  5. That's a horrible intersection. I've seen the most wrecks in Paulding county at that intersection. It's no wonder with the traffic flying through there and when you're in the turn lane you cannot see the on coming traffic. Add rush hour traffic or shopping traffic and you've got a recipe for disaster. I know it wouldn't make some people happy but I've been saying for years that they need to put a red turn arrow there.

Hope all involved will be okay. Prayers for all.

  6. Hey Hoohaa? These woman that saw this and reported it are they the same ones that you mentioned in the other thread, your daughter's friends? If so, please give them kudos for reporting him. :clapping: This sicko definitely does not need to be out there on the streets. I'm glad they got him and I hope he stays in for a long time.
