  1. Mr. Fielder was one of the nicest men I have ever met. He had a smile that you remembered long after you were not in his presence! I am so sorry and I pray for peace for the entire Fielder family during this difficult time.
  2. Never a finer man walked this earth. He will be sorely missed!! We loved you dearly. Walt & Dianne Croft
  3. Leaving Hiram, you cross the bridge and there's a car lot on the left and a little strip of businesses there and it's on the end. I'm thinking I'll try it this evening. It's open til 9:00 and we are just tired of the "country cooking" that Koreans (no offense) think appeals to us country gals.
  4. Has anybody tried this restaurant and is it a good place to get veggies???
  5. That's probably what it is, then. It was about the time of the terrible storm we had here around that time. Thanks. I need to go to Ingles and that's the way I go, I just didn't want to go that way if they are "re-enacting" a fatality.
  6. Does anybody know exactly what happened this morning at Nebo Road at Swan Drive? I got a nixle saying traffic incident at about 8:30 or so, then got another one saying to avoid the area until 2:00 this afternoon? Any ideas?
  7. The folks came over to his house this week. He told me something incredible. It was far more advanced than what we see on television. The thing(s) left his house and he has slept through the night since they came. No more waking up to heated bedroom. Maybe the folks who helped him with his problem could actually tell you what they found. I am just glad that he didn't tell them that I am serving ice cream and cake over here!
  8. Rhonda was one of the sweetest people you could ever encounter. She will be missed. We loved Rhonda so much and are so saddened by this untimely death. Rest in peace, Rhonda. We know you are celebrating with your mom and sitting at the feet of Jesus!
  9. Actually, we are off Ridge Road. He lives across the road from me. Pretty scary, though. I told him this morning that sage had something to do with making spirits leave.
  10. My neighbor called this morning and says he has a ghost or a spirit in his house. His wife has seen a dark shadowy "something" that blocked the light from another room, they have heard a woman's voice while they were in conversation in their kitchen and their lights will turn off and on - spooky things. I have read on here that there are some members who are in a paranormal society or something out here in Paulding. Can he get your help? He says every night between 1 and 2 am that their bedrooms become extremely warm and the remainder of the house will be cool. he's checked his vents -
  11. I live on Waters Road. I wonder which house it is.
  12. No, she didn't teach school, but she taught her daughters how to be wonderful women.
  13. So sorry for this sweet family. Mrs. Nafus was in the room next to my sister at Tranquility. You only get familiar with the family - not the resident - but the hugs and sympathy from each other help carry you through.
  14. This is my wonderful sister, who had survived cancer for 18 years and then it reared it's ugly head again 9 years ago as bone cancer. Please remember our family in your thoughts and prayers as we struggle to get through this very difficult time. She was loved by everyone who ever came in contact with her. Thank you.
  15. Robert Kennedy and Peter Lawford "helped" her leave this world. JMO

  17. $150 per month is not a great amount by any means. He probably has a new wife and new kid(s) and just doesn't want to be bothered. Pond scum is what I call a man who won't support his child. $150 per month will hardly buy the child clothing and basic needs. Just sayin....
  18. I live near Nebo Rd. In fact, I live between Nebo and Ridge and we have lived here 20 years and other than a teenager going into my husband's unlocked truck looking for $$ (which there was none - the truck was just purchased and he forgot to lock his doors - 2006) nothing much happens around here more than any other area of the county.
  19. My husband was not allowed to go down into the sub-division this afternoon because there was something going on with the sheriff's dept. He said that the deputies were getting out their rifles and putting on their vests and running around the neighborhood. He said that he backed his bus into a cul-de-sac and wouldn't let any kids off until the situation was cleared. He never knew what happened, only that one of the deputies told him it was okay for the bus to go down in there, but there were still police cars blocking the street and he couldn't get his bus down there. Anybody know wha
  20. I'm not handicapped (but my parking is) and it really ticks me off whenever I see someone parked in these spaces. They are what they are - FOR HANDICAPPED!!! I usually park far, far away from the general area because I need to walk.
  21. Curtis - I saw you many, many times standing on the curb with Miss Jessie. I always knew you were checking on her because of her health and make sure she had eaten. I so love you and Kim and I know what you did for her without anyone knowing exactly how much. You are, indeed, a man after God's heart. Loves......
  22. Curtis - you were her favorite, I'm sure!!!
  23. Don't I though? Wishing...... maybe someday.
