One of my tuxedo knocks on the window to be let in. No kidding. I had a girlfriend who had one. VERY tough to train. But then again, they are hounds and I've read many hounds are tough to train.

That's my impression as well. I don't think it's a big deal and it hurts no one. It might help some folks. I see a police car parked in the front of movies 278.....I don't have a problem with that either. Kinda glad to see it honestly.

Almost forgot..,don't have much experience with purebred cats but I love and adore a Manx. More of a dog than a cat.

I also have a rescue.....I think she's is mostly flat coated retriever. Great dog and wayyyyy too smart for her own good. Very, very smart and very, very hard headed! We love her. She plays my husband like a fiddle! I agree, the purebreds are higher maintenance. But theres nothing like a dog that comes with expectations of what to expect. Not that there aren't exceptions.....I've read tons of bad reviews on both my favorite breeds. I guess I just jive with them.

I'll go first. It's a tie between Goldens and Shepherds. I've had lots of dogs and they just stand out for me. Smart, loving, high training ability. Both of them....very loving. Stand up for you favorite breed! Tell us about them.

CC, do yourself a favor and look for SSS Bug Guard Plus. This is what the guides recommend you use in the Amazon. If it works well there it should be a piece of cake here. LLPT, it also repels deer ticks. You can find it on line. AND it's unscented!

Come to think of it, I don't think I've seen Fulton County or Atlanta police outside that area.

I see out of county police cars all the time. I believe there is a 20 mile (or something) requirement . In other words they have to live ?? Miles outside the county. Finding out nothing is easy, I would think it varies county to county.
