    look like turkey vultures to me actually, I am going to go with black vultures since they have the white tips on their wings. The birds are trying to warm themselves by holding their wings like that.

    I recently purchased a Motorola Q9c off of ebay for $60. No Verizon contract. I do not use data - just like to connect to the computer and sync my contacts and calendar from Outlook. My first Q lasted three years. I enjoy supporting that Motorola company and they make good products.

    When I have worked there in the past, I just called Ranger James and made the arrangements for my scouts to come out. I doubt he will be able to do this now, but he also does a great civil war soldier program for kids.

    technically, I don't know the answer to your question. But, from listening to the scanner, most of the rescues were in the SE portion of the county.
