I got to meet you yesterday. Glad she likes the doll. I wished you would have got to see everything we had. We always do the sales from 8am until 3 pm So come the first Saturday in Oct. ( not sure of the date) we will be there from 8-3 no BBQ this time though. We did very good yesterday. I was worried about it being a holiday weekend but we did real good. The officer doing the report said she found a dead opossum in hers. Teeth snarling and all. Don't know which is worse. The thought of either is not good at all. She said this happens around halloween people geering up to do pranks. I will not be allowing the kids to check the mail anymore.

Ok thanks that is what I was afraid of. Yes there is a great need. And it breaks my heart, but I can't afford to help them either. I was hoping to be able to give him some great advice, but it appears there is none to give him. We see so many most elderly that need help. And one day i pray we are able to help them with all the needs they have.

One of the gentlemen that comes to the food pantry is in need of medical attention----non-emergency. Does Paulding County have a free clinic or a place he can be seen? He has no insurance, no job, no money. He called the HD and they said they had no doctors on site.????? So what advice can I give him as to where he can go for help?

Well mine wasn't a late fee or anything. It was a freezer we bought and then, 6 months later went out and we lost everything in it. They fix it, then 8 months later it goes out again and the place we bought it from won't fix it cause it was over a year old. Same part. So I had to call the maker of the freezer. Well they didnt want to fix it either because we didnt have the extended warrenty. Well after a heart to heart they decided to fix it for FREE. I mean yeah I see their point but it did break two times in a 14 month period of time. But I hate it that you have to get ugly to make them do w

How come when you call customer service someone can't just help you out and do the right thing. Why is it you have to get ugly about it to get them to do what is right to start with? Well anyway I got the help I needed.

Yes it is, but I thank God we had enough food for them and didnt have to turn any away without. We are only open for one and half hours from 6:30 until eight pm. And we saw that many people/families in that short period of time.

Yes we would be glad to have any donations anyone wants to give. We helped 41 families on Friday night. These people are hurting some have just lost their spouces and have no clue what they are going to do. Others have lost jobs, or have sick family members, we also see alot of elderly people who just need a little extra help. We are so thankful for all who have ever donated to us. However we are not here to compete with anyone, we all have a common goal of helping people. And there are other great places around that also help people in need.
