Ok question: Is this a rugged phone? Or a tender phone? The reason I am asking is #1. 5 children- no home phone (so they now have to use my cell to call friends) #2. Hubby is well--------------- a man. They tend to not be as delicate with things as women. Plus he is in construction (when he gets to work). #3. I am always on the go and the cell gets shoved in my pocket so it is always close by me.

This is a great idea. I kind of did that with our last one. We moved from a single story home to a two story home. And when she was first born, I had her a cradle upstairs ( for night time) and I got another one real cheap at a thrift store and set it up downstairs. I set up a little nursery in the hall way. It had a changing table,and a cradle. It sure helped to NOT have to walk up them stairs every time she woke up. But remember I had 4 very loud little boys as well. But it worked out great.
