My sister's friend called and told her that she heard on the radio that at 4pm today, all water in Paulding County will be shut off. Does anyone know if this is true or not? Thanks!

I would so soap and water first and then hand sanitizer. My daughter is in 6th grade at SPMS and one of her teachers refuses to let them use hand sanitizer in class b/c there are people allergic to it. This I don't understand, if my daughter takes out her own hand sanitizer and uses it just for her then how does it affect the people that are allergic to it? I just told her to use it right before she goes in that class and right after she comes out of it.

It was insane this morning! I got what I needed and checked out right before everyone else started getting in line to check out. They had some great deals, but I didn't sign up for any of the giveaways b/c you couldn't get up to them b/c they had everything right there together at the front door and that's where they had the cokes at also, so it was a madhouse trying to get in that section to get stuff!

Everyone needs to watch your speed in school zones in the morning and afternoons, as the Heat Unit has been running radar in school zones. Just pay attention to your speed and you won't have a problem. You don't lose that many minutes by slowing down by 10mph.

It opens tomorrow morning(Weds. 08-26-09) at 8 am. They are having something where the first 500 customers get a free grocery bag or something like that.

I did try the Kroger on 278/61 yesterday and the Dollar General on Hwy 61 and neither place had them. My mom is going to look in Villa Rica tomorrow and see if she can find me some, if she can't I will most definitely take y'all up on the offers. Thanks so very much! This made me smile! My daughter needs 4 composition notebooks and I can't find them anywhere. I have been to 2 Walmarts, Kmart, Target, Big Lots, CVS, Staples and they don't have any. Does anyone have any for sale or know of someplace that does have them? Thanks in advance for any info!

Mr. Jeremy R. Johnston age 32 of Acworth, Georgia passed away suddenly on August 13, 2009. Jeremy was born on April 28, 1977 in Cobb County the son of George Johnston and Bobbie Hufstetler Johnston. He was a mechanic by trade and loved working on automobiles. His hobbies included watching movies. From my understanding most teachers will be leaving at the 6 oclock time. You could call up to the school and tell them your situation and I am sure that they can tell you over the phone who your child has as a teacher. He just wouldn't be able to meet them until Monday, but at least you would have a name.

My 4th grade teacher retired about 3 years ago and when I seen it in the paper, I went to the school that she was currently teaching at. She remembered who I was and everything and I just told her that I wanted her to know that she gave me my love for reading and that I will always remember her and that she did make a difference in her students' lives and that not only did she affect my life, but her efforts continue on in my kids as I instill my love for books into them. Teachers, please know that y'all make all the difference in the world and we do appreciate all that you do more than words

Romas was a very sweet man. I used to work at the Dallas Police Department and he would come in there pretty often when he worked at the fire station. He was always so sweet and wanting to know how my day was going. I am very sorry for his family's loss and y'all will be in my prayers.
