My point is if he only played golf and didn't so commercials, Talkshow appearances, etc. would he be in the public eye as much? He chooses to be in the spotlight..........he can choose when to turn the spotlight on and off. He sure doesn't shy away of coverage when things are going well now does he?

He makes only a small % of his fortune via gold tournamen purse winnings. I would venture to say that 80% of his wealth and fame is commercials, selling products, and appearances.........so if it "all about his golf game" he should't be doing the other stuff? This is part of the territory of being a celeb...he will just have to deal with it.
