Give me some suggestions for summer vaca
dumbestgirlintheworld replied to dumbestgirlintheworld's topic in RECENT TOPICS
This sort of jumps off the page for me too - the gulf is nice, we could hit Mobile for some southern hospitality or the Florabama for some downtrodden fun. What are the names of the beaches that I should look for houses? I'm open to resorts as well, but only if it's going to offer good amenities; I don't want to deal with a million people unless it's five star, KWIM? First week of June is plenty warm, right? -
Give me some suggestions for summer vaca

I would. But my boobs would explode. Of course, you can feel free to join us on the beach! -
Self esteem is hawt. And shouldn't come from ANY man. Shine on, you crazy diamond...and always remember, no matter how hot she is, somebody, somewhere, is sick of her sheeze. Kate Upton hasn't got anything on me!

She's gawgus. So nice to see a woman with curves on the cover, too. She's not a tiny woman - I do wish she was a *little* older, 20 is borderline creepy. Her boobs are natural. I spent my 20's as a size nothing with a D rack - I can spot fakes a mile away. And ladies, chill out. Boys will be boys - let them have their boobs.

We are looking for somewhere to go for summer vacation. We went to Charleston last year, which was nice, but since we'll have a new baby we need somewhere that let's us not have to travel too far for attractions. We like St. Augustine, but the beach to anything is pretty far. I kinda like how Tybee is set up, you can drink on the beach, hit plenty of restaurants and you're walking back tot he house...but, I don't like that there isn't much in the way of good eating and we have been there a lot. We LOVE history, my son goes nuts for old forts or naval ships or anything like that...

So is it just 30 minutes of absolutely devastating punishment?? If so, I'M IN! I don't want to drag out my routine between 37 machines and 45 minutes on a treadmill - just abuse me for as short a time as possible to produce results. My only concern is that after the baby comes, I'm was planning to return to a vegetarian diet. Wonder if that would work, since its inherently lower protein. ETA: GT, you look great - if you found a routine that works for you, that's all that matters!!!! I am time poor, I need something FAST.

I'm wondering a couple of things: Is it like an aerobics class set up? It is strictly resistance or do you use weights? How much weight are you actually losing? How do you like it?

I have a really interesting story about the Peabody... When I was younger, I was a hippie on tour with a jamband - anyways, because we were hippies, naturally we stayed at the peabody (BEST cosmos, fo reals)...there were half a dozen of us. Anyways, walking up to the hotel, there was some kind of bird migration or something, the birds were nesting in the trees by the thousands - and there were a number of dead ones on the ground as well - it was straight out of a Hitchcock movie. And then we walked in and needless to say, a bunch of long haired hippies in the Peabody didn't go unnoticed. W

I am going to surprise him with chinese take out and a 'picnic' in the baby's nursery - I'm framing a 3D ultrasound and putting a note on it from our little girl that says, "daddy, will you be my valentine?"... I am so money.

That was for the WHOLE team...and Christmas, wasn't it? Awe, I just got teary eyed. Beaten out by the delicious Kevin Rathbun, but I might be partial. And you are correct - I am most definitely NOT a foodie...so yeah, I'll just shut up now.

And this is why you're free to patronize them. I've only been once, and I didn't care for it. To be fair, I'm more adventure-trend than white linen...but, by all means if that's your thing... I wasn't trying to compare it to Outback, sister. Simply stating that there are a dozen other places that *I* feel are better choices. ETA: It did lose me at the wine... I'm seriously missing wine and I will be indulging in a bottle of my favorite soon!

I love Canoe - plus is DREADFUL in England right now, and you might get lucky and have a decent night for a cocktail in the back. Have you already taken him to Ray's? I'm guessing that you probably have...but it's never a bad meal. OH WAIT! Take him to Blue Ridge Grill - it's right over there, and if OS wants to get his drink on, y'all can hit up one of the bars over there (I think there's a Taco Mac or some equivalent). AND, it will be $75pp - tops - even with a good bottle of wine. That's the real downer about fixe prix menus - it's a friggin ordeal. You have to be prepared to sit at the

I'm guessing it's just a flight - so it will come out to about 2 real glasses of wine. Not that you shouldn't still secure a DD, but Aria is just so-so, and the wine is mediocre...at best a table wine. For $100, there's far better dining to be had, IMO. Eugene and Bacchanalia have absolutely stunning food - and let's face it, if you're going to come off a hundred quid (that was for you zoo) for dinner, you should come off some coin for a decent bottle of wine. Shurug...obviously, taste doesn't live just in one's mouth, if you know what I mean.

Who is RNG? I wonder if I could talk NC into "working from home" on Wed.

She's a good egg. She becomes like your favorite blanket.

GD for me...heck, I'd do lunch with just about any of them. My only hesitation is that pcommers are like church family - they can be sweet as pie out to lunch, but get them with a different pcom clique....lawd have mercy. Not an inclusive statement by any means.

What do you know about your fellow p.commers?

Collective "you", sorry. A forewarning to all patrons that treat waitstaff like crap - of which you seem to do proudly. Course, I don't think that place I mentioned wouldda been your 'scene' anyways. Damn it, I'm all walking down memory lane now. Sniff.
