Just reminded me of this song Artist: Francesca Battistlli lyrics Lyrics to This Is The Stuff : I lost my keys in the great unknown And call me please 'Cuz I can't find my phone This is the stuff that drives me crazy This is the stuff that's getting to me lately In the middle of my little mess I forget how big I'm blessed This is the stuff that gets under my skin But I gotta trust You know exactly what You're doing It might not be what I would choose But this is the stuff You use 45 in a 35 Sirens and fines while I'm running behind Whoa This is the stuff

Congress should have been working on this last year. I do hope that this is resolved before May 1. I don't think that the world is coming to an end, and neither do a lot of the people I know.

The military won't be getting their pay. Why should the president and congress?

My oldest son is 30 and ADD. He was skinny as a rail, still is. We didn't use meds for him. Some kids are naturally thin and some aren't. DD and 11yr old are big kids. Well perportioned (dd perpotions gave us fits. Some boys like em "stacked") but big. All three were/are very active. There are many kids who fall into the "obese" category, and no matter what they will not weigh what the "official" scale says they should. I know two boys that had to play up because they were obese. One was a 7yr old playing up with 9/10yr olds, the other was 9 playing with 11/12yr olds. Not only were t

Her parents are allowed to stay with her. DD has taken up residence for the duration, and we have our grandson for the weekend. Dad is going back and forth to work and the hospital. As long as she has her mommy, daddy and pup-pup she will do OK.

Yea, she's slept good last night, but they sedated her when they did the CT. So she was still a little loopy after that. DD said she was doing OK today. Thanks for asking.

They are keeping her again. Still on IV antibiotics. DD said they will look again tomorrow and decide from there. I hope she doesn't have to have surgery. Thank you all for your prayers.

I haven't heard anything yet this AM. They did send her to Scottish Rite last night.
-
Thank you, I just got home. They are keeping her on IV antibiotics, and will have the ENT check her in the morning. If the antibiotics are working they will hopefully send her home tomorrow. If not she may have to have surgery. Keep praying. Thank you.

My granddaughter is at Kennestone right now. They think she has an infected lymph node. They have placed a cather, and are waiting on blood work to come back. She is 21mo old. I really don't know much else right now. Just pray for Kira. Thank you

A question about a legal document , hospitals and children
gog8tors replied to jennilyn77's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Now that's what I was thinking. Sounds like that should be the real question. I always make sure who ever has DS for any length of time can sign for care if needed. I also have the same kind of document for the pets I take care of. Even Vets will not treat past life saving measures without the owners permission. -
Through the wind, through the hail, through the fallen trees, it's a bird, it's a plane, NO it's......

Always check the airways first. Give her time she'll forgive you. I'll let you know when the next pet first aid class comes up. With your crew sounds like you need it as much as me.
