A couple of years ago a few of us took garbage cans and placed them at the falls.... they lasted about a month until they were stolen.
Such a beautiful place..... some people have even been baptized there.

I have tangled with Paulding School Board in the past and I believe I (we) won!
First thing tomorrow morning I have to get 67 basketballs ready....(long story)
but I would like to offer going to the school board with you unannounced to them.
(element of sirprise) and I can assure you that you will get the answers you need and deserve.
I have other parent's but not with artwork. (video)
Call my office if you are up for it!
This is a FIGHT I will make time for!
I too have a SON who rides a Paulding County School Bus!

I too agree "SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE"
Maybe...... starting in PRE-K all the way to 12th Grade. If a child does something to another child..... 1ST OFFENSE it should be mandatory BOTH PARENTS and CHILDREN are in the PRINCIPAL's OFFICE.
Because parent's like you have the right to know what discipline actions are going on......FIRSTHAND!
Just demand to have a conference it is your right! (and your child's)

There are way to many "FATAL" Accidents/Crashes for whatever the reason.
I have heard that usually the people that speed commit ALL the other things too.
(MORALES, MORALS)
While we can't give a ticket to someone for drinking coffee, talking on phone (speaker). changing radio station.... we CAN and we MUST put a fear into them!
(like when everybody steps on their brakes when a cop is in sight)

(just about everyone agrees that the roads need to be SAFER
just need to find the common denominator to make it happen quickly
before another life is lost)

We have a problem.....
We need to fix problem.....
In one of your other topics Ken Ball suggested and recommends the
3 "E"'s ENFORCEMENT being number 3
We are not that other "SPEED TRAP" little town.... Paulding is one of the fastest
growing county's in the US.
PLUS it is MY HOME!
And ALL rules and Regulations should be revisited as some were written for there times.
wew........that took me 10 minutes! (to type) 1st post took a lot longer!
P.S. I believe that if a person can think of it........ eventually it can (will) happen.

Well, I too am concerned with the travel here in Paulding County and I believe that I have found a NO-COST, not have to wait YEARS to WAIT for it to be IMPLEMENTED, SOLUTION!!!!!!!!!!
ALL GREAT IDEAS NEED A "TEST" RUN..... so I will ask ALL of you on this site your opinion.
(cuz I know I will get a lot of DIFFERENT feedback)
I believe that Paulding County should Implement a COUNTYWIDE speed limit campaign (REGARDLESS OF WHO OWNS THE ROAD)
Some of the curent county "POWERS TO BE" need BIGGER CUONES
(hope I spelled that correctly)
Use the "NEWS-MEDIA" to put the word out that "SPEEDING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED IN PAULDING COUNTY- ZERO TOLERENCE" PERIOD!!!!!!!!!
Then our County's - State's Finest can and should WRITE ALL THE TICKET'S THE CAN!!!!
(The only cost here is.....INK)
The QUICK and LONG LASTING RESULT.......
(if we do it right) THE WHOLE STATE OF GEORGIA WILL KNOW THAT YOU CAN'T
SPEED in PAULDING COUNTY or ELSE you WILL PAY!
You see THIS WILL SLOW PEOPLE DOWN!!!!! and SAVE LIVES
(you will always have those that speed)
Most people by nature (majority) are "GOOD HEARTED" I believe "MOST" people
will embrace this idea......
Oh, and lastly "WILL GENERATE REVENUE" more than what I understand our current revenue is.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and anyone that is affected bt this!
I must say that if this location is a trouble spot and apparently it is.... we as paulding county residents have the obligation to make it safer! (after all that could of been someone close to each and everyone of us)

To Publisher.... a few of my clients have tried to register and participate in the on-line voting and they are getting an error message.
How can we fix this so they may participate?
