To Ridge Road Retiree
Thank you for your partial reply......
the response from our local residents in the area (the ones sitting in the traffic)
was..... "it is always like this! "it has gotten ALOT worse since Kroger's has opened"
And I hope that the power's to be had enough forsight with Eckerd's and others
going in there that the Major retailer's who are (will) benefit (MONEY)
FOOT THE BILL!
I hope someone has the answers to those 3 questions...... after all this is not Rocket Science.

Where is the redlight? While the new Kroger is a good thing at Ridge Road and
Baker's Bridge..... the traffic is "UNBELIEVABLE"
We personally spoke to 1318 people tonight at that intersection and this was their
question (s)......
1. where is the "RED LIGHT"
2. when will it be installed?
3. who is paying for it?
With the construction of the Eckerd's on the opposite corner traffic is going to get more and more congested.....
Please let me know.......

I must agree the new Kroger is "BEAUTIFUL" and meets the growing need in this portion of PAULDING and I am GLAD TO SEE IT!
HOWEVER.... with the Eckerds being built across the street and the ever increasing
people moving into the county.......
WE PERSONALLY SPOKE TO 1318 PAULDING COUNTY RESIDENT'S FROM 6PM
TILL 7:15PM TONIGHT
Here is the Question.....
When is the Red Light Being Installed?
Why wasn't it installed when Kroger Opened?
Who Is Paying for it!
The congestion is UNBELIEVEABLE!!!!!!!!

Jerry,
It is no secret that Paulding has a lot of commercial traffic overhead what they do with their excess fuel does concern me (they have to do something with it...right?)
By having our own airport locally will it deter that commercial flight overhead?
By the way, thank you for your prompt response.

I have a Question, (a few)
1. Is it true that Paulding County is vurtually a DUMP SITE for excess fuel
from Harts-Field?
2. While it is OBVIOUS that a Airport WILL BRING Corporations and JOBS to
our area... if we allow this to happen will the Airport eliminate the excess
fuel being dumped over Paulding County?

I believe I have a solution to this problem and if you people are interested in making our children's school busses a safer place let me hear from you.
I call it the intern theory... by using college students give them class credits schedule them on busses to"Monitor" and while this is not perfect it is better than what we have.
I approached the school board 2 years ago and I was shot down!!!!!
I too have a child that rides a Paulding County school bus and I can't change this by myself.
Corporations, Motion Picture Industry and so on use the concept of FREE LABOR (Intern) whether it is STUDENTS, PARENTS, ETC.......
I am not one for words........ words are just that........if those of you are truly interested in coming up with a solution then I ask you let's get out from behind these computer monitors and "BAND TOGETHER" and I ASSURE YOU WE CAN AND WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
AFTER ALL THESE ARE "OUR CHILDREN" AND NO GOVT. OR COUNTY OFFICE CAN STOP US PARENTS FOR MAKING OUR CHILDREN'S SCHOOL BUSSES A SAFER PLACE!
Either e-mail or phone me! My name is Curtis Carlin 770-943-2044

I am going to try to get the answers....... D.O.T. not the culprit....
Whoever made the deal with Developer/Kroger's is to blame.
4 months ago that area was just a normal neighborhood. (regards to retail)
Clock is ticking..... gotta run! LoL
